its funny because they are now defending UFC when people are saying UFC is dying, first they were saying boxing is dying or it sucks and UFC will bury it now they are defending UFC and butt hurt when former MMA fans are saying the sport sucks now.

      how ironic.

Never go against boxing, Kickboxing did the same thing in the late 70s and early 80s they weere like UFC and said they will kill boxing and kickboxing is the more exciting sport and it was a fad for a few months and died, boxing will always remain the top combat sport ever. the history is too deep and nothing beats a fist to fist toe to toe action fight.

Theres a BIG card on next weekend watch out for it.

The thing is, the UFC had HUGE stars each very unique...they had distinct styles and personalities. Rampage Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, GSP, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, BJ Penn and so on. They just haven't been able to replace them. Look at their 125lb champion, he is the most boring dude on the planet, despite being an awesome fighter. No one cares about him.

They need to change some of their rules too (downed opponent, one hand on the ground bs).

Oh and I also feel as though there is TOO much mma on, too many fighters who aren't elite. Before there only used to be a card on every few months but it was stacked. Most cards nowadays aren't stacked. The next card in December is EPIC on paper.

There offices in china closed, there deal with fox is about the expire, and there ratings have dropped every year since getting on fox. PPV #s have plummeted.

They are also About to lose there only television deal in Canada which use to be considered a big market for them.

UFC is also 500 million $ in debt, and EBIDTA just projected a 40% loss in profit this year along with downgrading there credit rating.

Saying a sport or company is dying is a overused comment.

But UFC has some serious trouble coming up, especially since it looks as the sport of MMA has already hit it's peek.

Joe Rogan is a company man, whats even funnier is this dude is a huge boxing fan, he doesn't even really care much about UFC he is more of a jiu jitsu guy who loves boxing.

This why I lost respect for Rogan, he was cool before when he would expose Carlos Mencia but now he is nothing but an over the hill company man.

I still cringe at him saying UFC will eat up Boxing, and all this crap. This dude STILL WATCHES BOXING and talks about it to this day on his podcast!!! he is similar to Alex Jones he is a snake oil salesman trying to exaggerate conspiracies to make him look hip and cool but he is part of the system himself he also promotes his own supplements.

Joe and Dana are huge boxing fans who **** on boxing, how can anyone respect them when they are walking contradiction hypocrites.

I don't get it. How come I can enjoy boxing and NBA, but I can't enjoy boxing and MMA? Why is it such a sin? Boxing and mma are at "war" (kind of). It doesn't mean the fans have to be.

You're missing out if you're one of those tunnel vision fans.

Nobody really believed that chit anyway.

Besides, there's enough disposable income out there for both.
