Was rooting for Velez but Gradovich definitely deserved to win this fight.

I thought it was closer than 117-111 or whatever that first score was but Gradovich threw crisper, harder shots and rocked Velez more than once. Gradovich won.

It was a good and competitive fight but Gradovich def won that one.

A draw was not the fitting result. Velez started well but he faded and most of his shots after the halfway mark had little on them. Gradovich bossed him for most of the fight and clearly deserved the win imo.

I saw Gradovich pretty much push Velez around and rag doll him from somewhere in rd5 until the end after losing the first 4 116-112 Gradovich for me.

Velez should have gotten the win rushing and tackling in the ring is not boxing that's all that Russian did velez threw the harder accurate shots especially those nice body shots

This is why people don't like Puerto Rican boxing.

How can everybody can say that Gradovich won that fight easy or whatever...Velez threw almost 300 punches more and in connect they went almost the same and Gradovich is supposed to b the pressure fighter and in any round i saw Gradivich pushing around Velez...maybe just in the 9 and 10 when Garcia was telling him that he might b down on the scorecards and from r 9 on Gradovich was clinching a lot and Velez looked a lot fresh w/o any hard breathing or anything so dont know where some of u got to 111-117 Gradovich except that all of u were just listening the bias comment of Max and Jim...i got it 114-114 or 115-113 Velez

I watched most of the fight with the sound off. I was kind of shocked(not really) to hear HBO saying the fight could go either way when I turned the volume up with a few remaining rounds. What commentary were you listening to? They were very generous to Velez, who got busted up in almost every round after the 3rd.

Velez looked great for 4 full rounds then he slowed and Gradovich proceeded to break him down in the mauling ugly way he does in fights.
