      116 112 SAUNDERS, don't kid yourself he won first 5 outa 6
and won a few in the second half plus he took some big shots well.
Both guys will only get better

It's a real shame about Eubank Jr. He needs to ditch his dad if he is going to have any type of career in this sport. I feel for the kid as his whole life has been in the shadow of his father and now his fathers ego is still trying to steal the show. He's even named after his dad. He needs to leave him but im still not convinced he is a fighter at heart!

5-1 to BJS in after the first six. 5-1 to Eubank after the second six.
I had saunders winning by a round (I was cheering for eubank) but I could only find him one round in the first 6 and after that the mountain was too steep though I did have Eubank winning the second half of the fight pretty clearly too.

Experience was the difference in the end. Eubank lunging in looking for one big flashy punch in the first half of the fight while saunders just steadily put rounds in the bank. I'l love to see a rematch in a years time if saunders comes through the winner of the Lee Koborov fight.

Dang, a lot of people had Eubank by KO too.

You could definitely see the Gap in experience there.

Let's see if he learns from it

he definitely won the second half of the fight anyway but I think his lack of experience hurt in the first half. He seemed to be too concerned with finding the perfect shot in the first 5 rounds or or. He needs to find a good jab and win fights by boxing right from the opening bell rather than posing and looking for one big shot.

If he'd come out like he did from the sixth round on in the first he'd have definitely got the nod. Give him a year with some decent opponents and he'll beat saunders in the rematch. I could just about see somebody giving Eubank a draw but 5-1 down after the first 6 is a big mountain to climb.

lack of experience was the difference

I don't even know how this was a split decision. It was a clear UD for Saunders.

Saunders was clearly the better boxer and showed that the first half of the fight. Eubank didn't know what to do and was just lunging in telegraphing his power shots.

Eubank needs to learn how to jab to set up those power shots. Single jab, double jab, feint jab, jab to the mid section. All top fighters work off the jab.

His corner were wank too. I never heard anything resembling a game plan. It was just 'you need to kick him out' - well obviously, what's the actual plan to do that.

There's a lot of work to be done.

                    It's a classic mistake I thought he wouldn't make.

I thought he would take power off his shots and load up less and jab more

Saunders made some mistakes too. Got hit with that right uppercut so much

They both showed their limits, neither are really good fighters.

Eubank has so many flaws it's ridiculous, he's a knock out just waiting to happen. His foot work is absolutely terrible.

As for the fight, scored it a draw.
