And if Chisora has lost the motivation for even the big fights, I highly doubt he is going to want to be dabbling in the domestic scene...not much to gain, not much motivation after all those title shots. He is one of those guys who had his chances at world level and just didn't have enough.

Chisora had a buildup period before this rematch with some half decent but generally very easy opponents...he doesn't need that again...

He can fight AJ, if he wants to test himself v a british rival who hasn't quite reached his peak yet, and if he loses he will know to himself he is done, and we will know more about AJ. It is a win win for all parties. And if Chisora loses, he can take his cash and ride off into the sunset, and AJ can push on.
You could easily say his motivation for the likes of Scott,Gerber,Pala and Avila was in question after the Haye fight, yet he knew he needed to win all these minor tests to position himself for a six figure payday such as the one he received last night.

Who is to say Warren with his careful match making can't reposition him for a huge summer fight versus the rebuilt Price or upcoming Joshua, two very winnable fights for himself,I wouldn't rule out him winning either of those fights.as I mentioned above he needs a few gimme fights,by late August he will have plenty of momentum as he did 14 months after the Haye fight, their is money to be earnt,Chisora can ill afford a 12 month lay off he wants another cash out against someone of the domestic status of Joshua.

The Joshua fight is there waiting if the olympic champ contines his winning streak,Price only today has made it absolutely clear he wants no part of the olympian.the chances of Fury taking a dangerous fight between now and late next year are about zero whilst he sits on his mandatory status.a Chisora/Joshua fight is about the only marketable ppv UK heavyweight match up available.the heavy hitting Browne is likely viewed as too big a step up at this stage and probably not a big enough name domestically to attract huge numbers.

If Price could be tempted to face Joshua,I doubt Chisora would even be considered with his links to Warren, with the Matchroom/Warren relationship not being a healthy one.without Price though who really else is there for a marquee summer event involving Joshua aside from Chisora.

Don't doubt Del's motivation for one moment with a huge payday on the line,he motivated himself to chase Haye in restaurants, motivated himself to defeat numerous undefeated highly ranked WBO ranked euro prospects on the road to no.1 ranked WBO contender.

You don't deserve to be in the ring with Tyson Fury yet. I think Joshua makes a lot more sense.

Reading between the lines here it appears Price wants no part of AJ.maybe he feels ready for the fringe level Chisora,I at least think it will be competitive.no way he completes a couple of rounds against the young olympian.

Sauerland appear to have a good relationship with both Matchroom and Warren, either way Id like to see Price in with AJ or Chisora by the late summer.

There's been strong rumours that Price flattened Joshua in sparring. He seemed extremely confident of that fight when it was spoken of.

The reason why he doesn't want to fight him or doesn't mention him, is probably because he wants a proper world ranked fighter.

I heard the same and Price seemed a bit offended ringside when they sort of alluded to him being used as a stepping stone for Joshua.

Its an interesting fight as lacking as Price is hes a big sob and has a nasty right hand.

as mentally fragile and chinny as price is Id pick him to stomp chisora within 3 rounds. chisora's chin hasn't been the same since haye dented it and he was never very good to begin with. that would be a good rebuilding fight for price imo. chisora is done

delboy will just have to get up close and let his hands go

price for a big fella is so damn easy to hit, he doesnt know how to use his reach advantage, similar to audley harrison.

delboy would have no issues timing him

                  it could go either way

The more you think about it, the more obvious it is - Price wants to cash out in a big fight where if he wins he could get a title shot or if he loses at least he gets paid well. Fighting AJ is too much risk for his career and not much reward, while Fury could lead him to a world title shot but that fight isn't happening. So just Chisora is left and I suppose that's the best fight for him...a much smaller guy with not amazing power and pretty much shot...that is a winnable fight for Price but I feel it could give him some false sense of confidence because Chisora is pretty much done now. Bullying a small guy isn't gonna give you any experience or know how on how to beat someone like Wlad...Fury will find that out.
