Post a clip of this bundu guy. He's not worthy of me looking him up.

How do you know he's not worthy if you've never seen him fight?

There isn't any doubt in my mind as to who's getting the victory.

You can't say that really when Bundu has only ever fought at European level.

Guerrero has been around for a while and has done absolutely nothing in the sport, Bundu hasn't been given the opportunity to prove himself as a pro until recently.

I think they're on the same level, if they fought I would probably pick Bundu to win a close UD.

He's physically very good, good engine, good chin, very durable. He's got some skill too, he can fight going forwards or backwards, good upper body and head movement, good jab. He goes to the body a lot as well.

This fight kinda reminds me of D.Garcia vs Herrera, nobody's happy with it because they don't really know who Bundu is. I think Thurman wins by late stoppage or a clear UD. Even if it's not close, it will be competitive imo.
That's all true. But it doesn't change the fact that Bundu is nothing special. He's well rounded but ordinary.

I'm not criticizing Thurman for taking this fight but no need to big Bundu up. Thurman will KO him easily and it will be a decent resume filler win while he waits for bigger things.

Depends on what you mean by 'ordinary'. I'd say he's a B- fighter, no different than somebody like Guerrero who people would give Thurman credit for beating.

Bundu is a former Olympian with a good amateur background, people are acting like he's some Rod Salka type opponent. I don't think this will be an easy fight for Thurman.

I think Thurman will fight Maidana or Guerrero after Bundu, probably on Floyd's undercard in May.

You keep showing this video as if it will prove your case that this fight with Thurman will be competitive. This is a massive mismatch.

The guy is slow, shorter, has short arms and don't throw flying punches at long range. He's clearly an inside fighter. How can you imagine Thurman getting caught with this guy? The only thing this video shows is that Gavin's stamina is crap.

I posted it because he asked for some footage of Bundu, I've only posted it twice...

He's a versatile fighter with a good inside game, can fight going forwards or backwards. He will give Thurman some rounds and be competitive, I'm not saying he's a world beater.

Bundu is a very good fighter on European level. So, far he has done everything asked of him. Does he have a chance to beat Thurman? Absolutely, but, but it is all about his capacity to absorb pain and keep coming back with his own.

Speaking from experience, with pure punchers, you're at a disadvantage cuz every time they hit you, it counts than say your usual fighters whose shots do of course hurt as it is a punch thrown by a grown man, but you can take it way better and keep coming back.
