When one guy has come out publicly multiple times saying I want to fight him I want the fight and the other guy has come out to diminish the other guy saying he's not on my level blah blah blah means negotiations can never take place if only one guy is willing

Mayweather should have never have had a Pro fight if that's the case because he's says that about everyone.

Floyd stands to make 60+ Mil if this fight goes through. Whrever the final figure lands, it is 100% certain that he's going to make more money from this fight than he has ever made in a single fight.

the money is a huge factor, but i think its his ego more than anything with arum coming in a close third. Pre-De La Hoya, Mayweather was always second fiddle to everyone, and when the torch was finally passed he wanted it for himself, along comes this guy Pacquiao and Floyd doesnt wanna share the superstardom. The only realistic way this fight is gonna happen is if Floyd takes 80% of the cake and Pacquiao 20%. In this format, to Floyd, Pacquaio will be just another opponent like the Maidanas, Canelos, Guerreros of the world. He does not wanna share the bill in any way. Pacquiao is full deserving of 60/40 or 65/35 kinda deal, but in Floyds head he is not.

Floyd ego is whats held this fight for so many years and hopefully that changes.
