A few years ago...I would have said Pac dominates and possibly KOs Floyd

Now, I say one of two endings happens:

    1. Floyd KOs Pac late with Pac winning the fight

    2. Pac wins more rounds clearly but he gets robbed on the scorecards...

I think Pac doesn't close distance as well as he did a few years ago when he was younger and had fresher legs... Floyd will have a chance to land big counter shots and may hit a home run late in the fight...

Greenberg called to find out what Floyds plans were. That isn't a negotiaton. Even before that, Floyd had already said he was taking the rest of 2010 off and possibly 2011. One of Arum's own mouthpieces said he was full of crap and had at least look like he was trying to make the fight, but already knew that Floyd was not going to fight and already had the Margarito fight all but done.

If that's the case, why would you ever believe Pac would accept a fight with Floyd when every time the fight has been offered, he wasn't interested? Can you answer me THAT? You know what health comes first means. Ok, so what!! Floyd talks nonsense all the time. I'm sure he still mentions drug testing to this day. Doesn't mean he's afraid of him. Umm, Mosley did the OSDT, Pac would not. THAT is the difference. Since then, Pac fought Margarito. Floyd took time off....then fought Oritz and called Pac. That was the only 2 negotiations that happened.

i addressed it!! I said that was in the context of fighting someone that is on PED and how the media and people were blaming him for the fight not happening, when Pac didn't agree. Why did YOU deflect? Why aren't YOU calling Pac out on Roach protecting HIS fighters health??

It's so obvious you hate Mayweather, because, if you were being fair, you would be questioning why Pac walked away from the first negotiation for a lie. You would call Mayweather a duck and a coward for it. You would do the same if Floyd's people were asked if Pac's name would be brought up as an option and they said "absolutely not". Floyd has certainly not helped the situation with things he's said and trash, but that doesn't change the fact that one side has been offered the fight 2x and declined. The only way you couldn't hold Pac just as responsible is if you dislike Floyd and don't see things clearly.
None of this stuff matters and all of this stuff has been beaten to death by fans and people who live and breathe boxing. Fact is both of these guys are at fault for this fight not happening already. If they had fought 5 years ago or 3 years ago it was too much of a risk for both of them. They fought other guys made a ton of money doing that and we are now at the end of the road for both of them and they are the last men standing. THIS FIGHT WILL HAPPEN IN MAY BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE LEFT FOR EITHER OF THEM TO FIGHT. HISTORY PPV MONEY ALL OF IT IS RIGHT THERE FOR BOTH OF THEM TO SEE AND BOTH FLOYD AND MANNY KNOW THAT ITS TIME TO DROP ALL THE BS AND MAKE THIS FIGHT HAPPEN

          • Let me expand on my analysis... I think Pac will outwork Floyd every round..and unless Floyd KOs Pac he won't win...

Pac knows how to cut off the ring very well..but he gets hit clean...

It comes down to how well Pac takes Floyd's power when he comes in...

Pac was KOed by a Memo-backed Marquez...besides that Pac has shown a great chin...

If Pac can handle Floyd's body work and Floyd's counter shots... Pac will definitely outwork Floyd and win rounds...but Floyd could always land that perfect counter especially if he lands body shots early...

I'll say Pac by decision but I haven't liked the way Pac has looked since the Mosley fight because his in and out speed has diminished...

I dont know about Floyd knocking manny out. I can see Floyd catching manny with a straight right counter and getting a flash knockdown but I don't see Floyd knocking him out. I don't see a robbery either.

It's going to be a close fight and depending on who the judges are because judges score fights differently some scoring for volume while others score for clean punches. I honestly see a draw or a split decision for manny only because I think mannys punching from different angles and overall volume will be something Floyd hasn't had to deal with in a long time.
In terms of speed manny has Floyd but if floyd uses his jab and is able to keep turning manny i see manny having to really focus on cutting the ring off and using his faints to open Floyd up. Manny punches from so many angles I really am interested and excited to see how Floyd counters that if he can. Floyd wins if he moves and boxes away from manny and neutralizes mannys left by shooting his counter right and most important for Floyd that he doesn't get caught on the ropes.

              • I'm with those that think the fights going to happen. I'm ignoring the muppets on here who constantly post the same ****e about Floyd or Manny being scared. That debate has been done to death. It's great to see that the head of CBS and Arum are talking. I also like the fact that Sam Watson confirmed Mayweather wants the fight too. I could be wrong but I sense everyone is willing to do their bit to make the fight happen. I don't for one second believe that we should assume Floyd doesn't want the fight just because he's been silent since Manny called him out last week.

I think it also depends on how much Manny weighs... I think Manny needs to come in light... I'd have Manny come in at 142 like he did against De La Hoya and I woudn't have Manny weigh more than 147 night of the fight... The heavier Manny comes in the slower he'll be getting out after he steps in with combos and the more vulnerable he is to counters...

                    Not gonna happen bro

Algieri hits harder than Floyd and Pacquiao walked right thru him. There was a right hand that Algieri landed flush and Pac's head didn't even move an inch. And Floyd wear pillows and has hand issues.

The only way this fight ends is a Pacquiao victory unless the gets robbed which is a very real possibility cuz Al Haymon has a history of fixing fights especially when it comes to Floyd

I think Pac will definitely win more rounds than Floyd. But I disagree that Algieri hits harder than Floyd... I think Pac would have clearly won years ago because he was walking through punches with the added weight but now he's older and age makes fighters not take punches as well... Pac will give Floyd fits, no doubt about it...but Floyd could land a big shot and KO Pac..it's definitely a possiblity especially the way Pac lunges forward at times and doesn't get out as quickly as before...

BUT I think the Marquez KO actually made Pac smarter...so Pac will use his smarts to avoid getting KOed by a counter and make up for his diminishing foot speed... so I see Pac winning the fight...I can't speak for the scorecards in Vegas...
