I'm going to bed, but I hope this fight gets signed so we can analyze and debate the tactical fight inside the ring rather than continue to have to hear excuses for why the fight isn't happening...

I think Pac will definitely win more rounds than Floyd. But I disagree that Algieri hits harder than Floyd... I think Pac would have clearly won years ago because he was walking through punches with the added weight but now he's older and age makes fighters not take punches as well... Pac will give Floyd fits, no doubt about it...but Floyd could land a big shot and KO Pac..it's definitely a possiblity especially the way Pac lunges forward at times and doesn't get out as quickly as before...

BUT I think the Marquez KO actually made Pac smarter...so Pac will use his smarts to avoid getting KOed by a counter and make up for his diminishing foot speed... so I see Pac winning the fight...I can't speak for the scorecards in Vegas...

people are delusional on here thinking pac will win more rounds than floyd?. How is this possible by what you have seen in the algeri fight?. Chris is slow and not a very good counter puncher. floyd has better feet and better head movement. The longer the fight goes the more pacquiao will get frustrated wit not being able to land clean hard punches on floyd. The wild combinations and lounging will be mannys down fall come fight night. Floyd will potshot manny to death lol #TMT

No disrespect but Algieri may have been a tune up to what a fight with Floyd would actually look like. Chris was running a lot and in terms of defense manny caught him with that straight left as Chris was doing a shoulder Roll moving to his left the same way Floyd does.

Floyd is by far a better boxer then Algieri that's not even a debate that's worth having but style wise they are a little similar.

Judging Floyd from his last 3 fights I don't think he is moving as fast as he use to. Mannys foot work is better then Floyds and in terms of speed manny has the edge but not by much. Floyd won't be able to pot shot and run from manny. Mannys head movement and speed will make it very hard for Floyd to try that which is what makes this fight more of a toss up. We haven't seen Floyd fight someone with speed and punching power and in manny you get both. He may be lunging but he's throwing punches and I don't care how great your defense is Floyd will be caught with punches that he won't see coming. If maidana can hit him clean manny should without a doubt be able to as well.

Based on what? Look at there last 3 fights. Algieri has the tougher resume. He toyed with Maidana in sparring, Floyd lost the first fight and Bayless won the second one.

Algieri has better legs, better stamina, better combination punching, better head movement/angles, gets off first, better heart, better chin, etc

The only thing Floyd does better is clinch

Pacquiao blows out Floyd worse than he did Algieri and Algieri would beat Floyd at least 8 round to 4.
