Comments Thread For: Roach: CBS CEO Said He Can Deliver Floyd Mayweather

Trainer Freddie Roach feels good about the possibility of a 2015 mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Last Saturday night in Macau, Roach led Pacquiao to a six knockdown lopsided decision win over previously undefeated Chris Algieri. Mayweather was last seen in the ring in September, when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over Marcos Maidana.

EVERYBODY can do their part, as long as Floyd doesn't want the fight, it will not happen. You can't drag him across the floor all the way to the ring, as much as I would love to while kicking him in the ribs. But it's just not realistic.

CBS might have to do a B.A. Baracus and knock Floyd out and then wake him up in the ring just before the bell.

Whenever Floyd and Pac are both free to negotiate a fight, Floyd all of sudden disappears off of the face of the earth?

Floyd, which way did he go???

                  Can anyone find Floyd?

                  Floyd, you there?

If Floyd doesn't want to fulfill his contract with CBS/Showtime with a Pacquiao mega fight, his only way out is to retire again. But it will have to be more than a year. I'm sure that the Showtime agreement stipulates that Floyd will have to retire from boxing for at least 3 to 5 years just to get out of that deal.
