It's really kind of hard to say Floyd hasn't aged compared to Pac if we're going by both of their most recent fights.WE can only do so much as fans, but with Floyd it falls on deaf ears.
All we can do is speculate and write analysis, I am fair on my breakdowns some guys are fanatical for Floyd or for Pac. My breakdowns are very fair, I dont call fighters bums at all, and I recognize each skill set, there are guys on youtube like BarryRobinson and Kayden who think they are hot **** and are hardcore Flowmos to the point where they **** on Pacman, and say he is a bum with no skills.
Pac has to have skills, like Algieri said Pac is the best at being Pac, his style is awkward and unique. You cant be a bum with no skills and beat top level guys and go 4 fights with Marquez and hold your own.
I just analyze everything and Pac is not the same fighter, Floyd hasn't aged compared to Pac. People see Floyd get hit and say he aged, Floyd has been hit many times before in his prime watch the Castillo and Augustus fights. He just struggles with a certain style, and Pacman only shot of beating Floyd is to outwork him and this older version no longer can do that. he gasses out and it takes him longer to recover.
Floyd will win easily with right hand and duck unders and over hand rights. If this was Pac who beat Cotto than I would say it was 50 50, but Pac was wide open against Algieri, he couldn't cut off the ring and went back to lunging in face first.
Floyd struggled against Maidana, an opponent who he was expected to beat easily and even though he did better in the rematch, it still wasn't exactly the master class people expected. I'm not just talking about the punch at the end of the 3rd round. Floyd seemed like he was getting hit more often than people are used to seeing. If style really was the problem for Floyd, it was mostly Maidana's awkwardness and I say that spells doom for Floyd since Pacquiao has that and more.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao has fought Bradley (who everyone seems to accept as a high level boxer in the welterweight division) and beat him as expected. Just recently, he fought Algieri and also beat him as expected (perhaps more easily than some people had hoped). Pacquiao did what he was suppose to do in both fights. Even though he didn't get the KO, there's no doubt in anybody's mind that he won both fights.
I can't truly say who would win for sure but I can say that it won't be easy for either one. While there's no denying that Floyd would land some shots on Pacquiao, there's also no denying that Manny would land some of his own shots on Floyd too. As shown many times, a boxer with enough hand speed can indeed catch Floyd. Couple that with Manny's power and then the question is what would Floyd's reaction be to that? If we were to go by the second Maidana fight, I say it wouldn't be a good one, as it took him a full 4th round to recover after that punch. Not saying Pacquiao would stop him but he likely would do better than Maidana, as he would definitely have more success at landing shots and unlike most of Floyd's opponents, Manny can last a full 12 rounds.
It's kind of hard to compare Pacquiao to any of Floyd's opponents, where as Pacquiao actually does switches up on his type of opponents. It's a tough fight to call but I'm slowly leaning towards Manny. I just feel Floyd has been fighting too many of the same kind of opponents to be truly prepared for somebody like Pacquiao.Last edited by Mr. Punch-Out!!; 11-28-2014, 02:27 AM.Comment

I don't see how the WBC can actually exert any pressure on Floyd, really. What are they going to do? Make up a super duper ultra turbo deluxe edition WBC welterweight platinum covered belt?
The way I see it, it's just them trying to get a piece of the action. You have all these third parties pooling their cash in to make the fight happen, and they'll want a return. This has been tried before, or so the rumors went.
If Floyd takes the fight, it certainly won't be because of the WBC. Are they going to threaten to take his "champion" status? Like Floyd will give a damn.
The mainstream media is going to eat it up, though.Comment

Strange how the WBC makes Pacroid#1 contender after being KTFO!!!!!!!! The shady business of boxing was shown since when has a guy that was put in a coma jumps to the #1 spot. How is it Pacroid gets all these passes? The catch weight pass, the won't test pass, the turn money down pass, the fighting lower weight opponents pass. The guy could murder his entire country and still get a pass in order to be considered the good guy. I think Floyd being black has hindered all respect he deserves for the effort he has put forward to get this coward zza test ducker to agree to the terms in a contract. Pacroid hasn't done anything to warrant more then a 5-10% cut of this fight. All that crap he did before negotiations broke down is suspect. Once he refused to take the test IMO all prior win were questionable. Now that he's cheating once again by using the China no testing loophole he really doesn't deserve a shot. Like I said the guy says one thing and when called on it he is never questioned. This fight could've taken place before Floyd went to jail but none of Pacroid supporters care to look back at all the excuses they used to avoid Floyd. I wish his supporters would do their homework and explain why if he's so dead set on fighting Floyd that he always has a excuses to talk about Floyd but never backs it up with a walk to the ring. Samsung e the Floyd is ducking Pacroid for fools who don't like the man. Those who follow the sport knows the truth.....Comment
