Comments Thread For: Lucas Browne Promises To Spark Deontay Wilder Cold

LUCAS "BIG DADDY" BROWNE believes he'll be lean and mean as he presses towards a world title shot in 2015.

The much-loved Aussie puncher was in the best shape of his career when he defeated tough American Chauncy Welliver earlier this month and he says the days of weighing in heavy are over now he's training with the legendary Jeff Fenech.

Browne is also keen to shed his amiable image as he feels a vicious streak is needed in order to get to the top. [Click Here To Read More]

Brown would be dismantled with ease. Careful what you wish for.

      tough American Chauncy Welliver

      I had a laff, mate.

      Not doubting Sir Chauncy's toughness.

But I would have made a fairly sizable bet that if somebody told me that a Chauncy Welliver was fighting on a undercard of whatever promotion, and a guess was to be made which nation he was fighting from, I'd reckon him to be a right proper British bloke.

      The more you know.

And knowing is half the battle.

Lucas Browne is not a very good boxer but he's a big guy who can punch. I give him that much.

Anyone seen his fight against James Toney? I felt so bad for Toney watching this fight. Why the hell does he keep on fighting when he is so flucking shot and let someone like Lucas Browne beat him. Toney is an all time great I don't want to see him keep on embarrass himself.

Holy crap, Toney needs to lose about 120 pounds.

Lol. Yeah, he sounds like a character from a Charlotte Bronte novel.

"Jane, Jane, what news! Ginerva Fanshaw has become engaged to Mr Chauncy Welliver! You know young Chauncy? Capital fellow, Parson Welliver's cousin... "

Financially a Commonwealth title defence against Parker or Leapai in Sydney makes most sense.

Lucas is too much of a nice guy to trash talk. He punches as hard as anyone though, certainly strong enough to put out Wilder's lights.
