I don't know. He's been outlanded in 3 of his last 4 fights.

He beats an over rated lara - yet you guys still cry robbery and question his skill, when the overwhelming majority of boxing journalist and media had canelo winning.

Canelo is trying to make fights that we all want to see - but still he gets no credit.

So to answer your question, canelo is loved because it doesn't take 5 years for him to fight the best like floyd and manny. And yes both floyd and manny are at fault go this fight not happening. Canelo is head hunting the biggest fights he possibly make and you still down talk him. Only in a backwards boxing world can someone who tries to give us what he wants ridiculed. Sometimes I think both floyd fans and manny fans are the real cause for the down fall of boxing, you're both low quality boxing fans. I don't see how boxing fans can still care about floyd vs manny even after all the lies and stalling FROM BOTH SIDES.
What exactly do you think Floyd and Manny did when they were younger? That's the problem with this forum. Everyone forgets why the two biggest names in boxing are the biggest names. They paid their dues...they fought the top opponents. They've earned it the hard way. They are allowed to make fights that's going to be most lucrative. Please check their records and the quality opponents they've faced to reach where they are now. Pay homage

Because he's not a coward duck and has fought and faired well with top competitors in and around his weight. That's how you measure your worth.

same reason people thought ortiz and guererro were good. they fought floyd=they must be good. maidana will have this same honeymoon effect until his next real fight where he is easily beaten.

People thought Ortiz and Guerrero were good because they won dominant, entertaining decisions vs. Andre Berto. Same for Maidana, except his win came vs. Broner.

But he was embarrassed by the coward duck. He was crying in the ring after the fight ended.

Yeah. Congratulations to Floyd. He used his superior athletic ability (speed and reflexes amongst other thing's) to win another score card fight. What a suprise.

You do realize any glancing flick jab is considered a lunch landed.

Canelo is a fighter. Not every boxer is there to bore the **** out if you and try to edge out a pointd decision, believe it or not. Maybe some of you nerds forgot the dying art of the fight game and hone in on guys who get in the ring to stare at each other and hope the judges give them a W.

And when you tell ppl floyd beat him the excuses come piling.

"he was drained tho" "he was at a catchweight tho" "floyd was running tho"

^ not really valid, tons of fighter look great at a catchweight 80% of the time.

So whats canelos deal? is he good is he bad what?
Tell you what alt-acct-troll/noob, Canelo got beat by fast Floyd...he ain't lookin' quite as quick his last 2 fights.

Canelo, on the other hand, continues to grow up.

A rematch might be really bad for Floyd and my prediction is that we'll never see it because Floyd knows the same.

So (if you'll permit me the vernacular) slow your roll, homie...
