I like Bundu, he's a good guy and a decent fighter.
His fight with Gavin was a great event, crowd were electric. Not the first time he's come to the UK and caused an upset.
But I think he's out of his depth here but I'm rooting for him.Comment

Looks like Maidana could return in April or May. From TheBoxingVoice:
Marcos Maidana spent 2014 battling Floyd Mayweather twice. Although he came up short in both instances, he netted career high paydays in both fights. Now it’s onto 2015.
According to Maidana’s manager, we should expect Maidana back in April or May. Sebastian Contursi told ******.com that he met with Al Haymon and a spring return is what they are looking forward too.
“I had a meeting with Al Haymon last week and we were just talking. There are a lot of big names out there for Marcos, given that he is with Al Haymon,” said Contursi. I didn’t mention anyone in particular and there are no dates; there is nothing firm or planned or no fight so far but when the opportunity arises, we will know.”
As for the return opponent, Contursi says Maidana just wants big names.
“You know who Haymon’s fighters are but I didn’t want to talk too long about this name or that name. But there are plenty of them there,” said Contursi. “There’s Danny Garcia, Andre Berto, Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, Keith Thurman. You know, all of them are there and next year, all of them could be potential opponents for Marcos.”
Al Haymon is very deep in the welterweight division but in 2015 there were plenty of sub-par matchups. Hopefully in 2015, he can match his guys up as all the names mentioned would make good fights and we could get some clarity for potential opponents for his biggest client, Floyd Mayweather, Jr.Comment

Bundu has 11 KO's in 31 fights, has fought a bunch of unknowns and is 40 years old. He was an Olympian 14 years ago. If he's a well-kept secret, they kept it too long. Thurman has 21 KO's in 23 fights, has beaten a former champion and some tough journeymen & is prime at 26 years old. I'm going to agree with Hype job and say Bundu is a step down for Thurman in his quest to be a world champion.lol why are you telling me what his KO ratio is like that's what a fighter should be judged based on? Typical casual fan.
He was a 2000 Olympian and has a good amateur pedigree, he hasn't had the opportunity to prove himself as a pro until recently. His win over Gavin was decent.Comment

Bundu has a little hop he does when he comes in to punch which a fighter can time on the way in, plus he has short arms. You can tell he had a solid foundation but I don't see him upsetting Thurman.Comment
