Sick of these diva fighters thinking no one wants to fight them. Thurman hasn't done $h!t he doesn't want to take any risk just wants to fight bums and get paid. Fuuuukkkk thurman can't belive people are falling for the everyone ducking me crap. Bunch of total bull $h!t can't believe anybody is falling for this crap
Khan you know sure as **** wont fight him with that chin.
Hes having a hard time getting fights. Guy has power and skills but is unproven. Its kind of tough, the risk/reward ratio for the B level guys to fight him isnt very good, hes going to have to get his big break somehow from someone with enough balls to fight him.
Mr Thurman is entering what should be his peak years 26-32 years old.
Most boxers peak round this period, as they still have most of their physical gifts and have the addition of experience and maturity.
Next year is crucial for Thurman and he needs to get some B level names on his resume, I am dissapointed that the Alexander fight didn't happen, that would be a solid B guy that I believe he would handle, and it would get his name out there and somewhat legitimise him.
From next year on, no more Bundu's, Soto Karrass, Zavecks etc.... no more C level guys, 2015 he needs to get some solid B guys on his resume or his career will stagnate.
This is not the 1980s, 1990s or even the early 2000 years. Promoters don't put their fighters in the ring against progressively tough competition like they did then with the intention of preparing them for a world championship fight by their 20th pro bout.
Like most fighters who have come along in the last five years, Thurman has been brought along slowly by him promoter. What that means is that a promoter doesn't want to risk a potential cash cow by putting him in a ring with a tough opponent who might actually beat him. The same thing applied to Gary Russell Jr., Juan Manuel Lopez, Chavez Jr., Deontay Wilder , Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan to name a few. If these guys had tough fights or got beaten by lower tier fighters, like in the case of Khan and Lopez, it was a case of the promoter misjudging the fighter's abilities.
Richard Schafer was using the excuse, "no one wants to fight him" to try to promote Thurman as a knockout artist that everyone was afraid of. The truth is that Schafer knew that Thurman is not that good and he wanted to build a following before risking a loss. Schafer did the same thing to Alvarez just as Arum did to Lopez.
Alvarez did not face a quality opponent until is 45th fight. Russell Jr. didn't face a quality opponent until his last fight after more than 30 fights. Deontay Wilder has 30 fights and is finally facing a quality opponent. Now, with Haymon guiding his career, Thurman won't face a quality opponent until his 30th or 35 fight. There will be at least five more stiffs on Thurman's record before we see him take a step up.
Since you're so confident this fight is competitive,
400 billion points, Thurman KO's/TKO's Bundu. What's your take?
I want Thurman to win, I'm just saying Bundu is no Rod Salka. I do think Bundu will take it to the scorecards though. I'll do 400 billion that the fights goes to the cards, you win if the fights ends via KO/TKO/RTD/DQ. Deal?

It is ironic that all of Al Haymon's fighters have trouble finding quality competition to face them. Danny Garcia couldn't find a single quality opponent at 140 or 135 to face him in his last fight so he had to settle for the 77th ranked super featherweight. Deontay Wilder has not been able to find a quality opponent in 30 fights. Gary Russell Jr. has faced TBA in virtually every one of his fights because no 126-pounder would step up to the plate to face him until his last fight with Lomachenko . Amir Khan had to face a washed-up former champion in his first fight at 147 because no one else was willing to fight him. And now, once again, Thurman has to fight a journeyman because he can't find a single B or A or even a C plus welterweight fighter to fight him. What a damn shame!
