I don't think so imo. Saddam Ali is a very good technical boxer and Thurman hasn't fought anybody that crafty. It'll be nice to see if Thurman knows how to adjust.
Beating Ali wouldn't do anything for his career. I've seen Ali fight before and he has never really been impressive. He did step up and beat Abregu a few weeks ago but Ali almost lost to this dude named Jeremy Bryan last year. Thurman been in the ring with guys that would most likely beat Ali. Thurman deserves a big name now. Ali is still very green.
Thurman is sitting back hoping a big fight comes his way....he needs to go find a big fight and take a big risk like all the ATGs did....Haymon is producing well paid but spoiled fighters.....the perfect fight for Thurman to get that buzz he's looking for is......
thurmans a bum who is known for calling out fighters he dont deserve more then he is known for beating legit names, nothing but C- level bums on his resume.
A bum? So maidana ducked "a bum" what does that say about maidana?
