Why tell a bold faced lie like that saying this fight is not about the money? We all know Manny wants to win which has nothing to do with the money but we all know Manny wants to be compensated because boxing is his got damn job!

could it be because he changes his mind and realize he needs to accept whatever to make the fight? or is floyd the only one allow to change his mind?

If it is not about the money that why not put out the amount of the split? We already know he was offer $40 mil plus PPV upside (are they ok with that offer, if not what is their counter offer).

          here we go again!!

here we go with 200+ pgs of nonsense of how floydies will blame pac for not taking $40mill.. and Packy's defending the FACT that boxing is a business and when PPV buys were so close between both (and still are) considering Foney hasn't cracked 1million in 3 of 4 showtime fights and it's know he needs 1.1 to make showtime happy.. while manny is sinking himself with 400, 800k and maybe 500k buys this last one..

I say 60/40 makes it happen.. but then again. mayweahter wants to treat his only viable opponent and just, if not bigger, name like he's not what he is.. BEST OF OUR ERA!!

So its not about money, but you whined about not getting any ppv revenue and refused the $40 mil deal. Well, doesn't surprise me. This is the same guy that allowed his team to float needle fear as an excuse even though manny has tattoos.

^^^ this right here.. I'm assuming it's only a business decision when your boy tries to price himself out of a fight.. but it's a duck move when other do it.. everyone with a right sense of mind would know that accepting a $40million flat purse is dumb.. when that fight at that time was a serious threat to 3million ppv buys.. generating over $200 million.. and you wanted someone who was selling on average around 100-300k less buys... but fought more times a year.. to take $40 when they we're the top 2 fighters.. top 2 draws.. why didn't mayweahter accept the counter offer of $50 flat purse?

or 45/45 with 10 going to the winner since it was "easy work"?

Because both of those offers are less than what he earned for the cotto fight-which is a smaller fight while the $40 mil, no ppv offer is $12 mil more than Manny has ever made for his biggest fight or a fight where he has the bulk of the ppv revenue.

SO i'll try to appeal to the common sense in you-if I offer Julius Randle $15 mil a year tomorrow-he jumps on it because he's never earned that much. If I offer Kobe the same $15 mil he laughs at it because he's earned at least $20 mil a year for the last 10 years of his career.

so I understand the point-Manny wants more because he is a big draw. He is entitled to more. But to not half. You also would have a valid point if Manny had not turned down a 50/50 deal.

Manny hamstrung his earning power by resigning with TR. its not on Floyd to make him an offer to compensate for that. Besides, Manny just said it isn't about money, so whether this offer is good or bad is apparently moot.
