Well, by UK law (maybe it's the same in Germany) he doesn't actually need to prove anything. He can sue on grounds of Pulev making libel comments about him that puts his credibility in question or that Pulev is claiming something Wlad is claiming not to be i.e. he can sue Pulev for calling him a liar.

Either way, Pulev will have to prove his innocence, Wlad won't. Which means it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Wlad being clean, rather just him protecting his image.

This is of course on the basis that libel/slander laws are similar in Germany/EU as they are in the UK.

However, Pulev can go to EU court and file for Freedom of Speech under human rights act which normally always gets approved unless they settle out of court.Comment

 lol that's obviously not true.

His highest purse ever was £10 million - the same Haye got for their fight - and that was including PPV money.

The Povetkin fight gave him $17.5 million and that was considered outrageously high.

His normal purse is around the $3-5 million mark.

Boente said the Povetkin purse was "the highest by far" in Wladimir's career.
