Don't let it "marinate" TOO too long...Arum knows something about that...

Both sides are saying the same thing. Walters wants Gonzales, and Loma probably wants Gradovich for the other belt. If this happens we may have an undisputed champion in the division by the end of the year.

That's basically the same thing Walters said.

Now lets see if THIS is seen as a duck.

How can some people be saying Loma is ducking when the article is about what his manager is saying Loma already put on record he wants the fight...whereas Walters said "he has nothing to gain from fighting Loma"

Anyway, it's early to call anyone a ducker in this situation...as long as they fight at some point in 2015, there's no great rush. I'd much rather see this as a full unification rather than potentially set back both guys' careers.

The fight will happen, i'm pretty sure of that..."by the end of 2015" just as Klimas says.

Seem like the wrong two guys to be going back and forth about being ducks, both strike me as throwbacks.

Also Gamboa had that other management team at the time he was with Arum, that might have played a role in the whole marinating game...I don't think we are dealing with all that with these two. Soon enough hopefully, i love this fight

It'll happen, neither is ducking the other fighter.

They're both only in their 20's, and a couple of years apart.

Hell, even if it doesn't happen at '26, there is always the chance both could move up to '30, and meet there.

Give it some time before the "D" word starts being thrown around towards either guy.

That fight does need to marinate, like if there was a Boxing Promotion's for Dummies book this exact situation would be described when talking a fight to build up.

Lomachenko good looking young kid who doesn't have the most scintillating style but is an excellent boxer. However, he only has 4 fights so h needs to beat up a bunch of guys. Realistically he should be on the bum of the month plan as long as he can get on TV.

Walter is a Jamaican dude with a cool accent and a fan pleasing style. He just burst onto the scene so people need to get more familiar with him. He could go on the bum of the month plan also but beating 2 solid guys should be enough especially if Gonzalez is one of them.

I want to see those two guys meet for all the marbles, if they can't get to that point it wasn't worth that much anyway~

Lol, just a couple of days ago there was an article posted here where Walters stated he had nothing to gain by fighting Lomachenko right now and many of you same clowns immediately accused Walters of ducking him!

Yet Loma's own manager is saying the same thing Walters was - Classic Rebuke of you armchair experts who know next to nothing about boxing
