Lewis over Vitali.
Makes as much sense as what you just wrote.

Oh he's too fast, oh he'll go war he will be able to do this and that...
This is the exact same case the only difference is Evander wouldn't have a punchers chance against Vitali maybe he could hope for him to get a bad cut or become injured but he does not beat him in terms of the boxing department.
WAAAY overrating Holyfields ability.

My understanding of the "fantasy fights" is that each opponent is in his "prime"! Evander in his prime is a superior talent to Vitali, he will win inside or outside because Vitali is only big he's NOT the more talented fighter!
When Vitali jabs Evander will be countering with punches or moves into him then punching and the Klitz Bros are SLOW on their feet and hands compared to most ATG fighters. They never work in combination and they will both "mark up" badly and their reactions when stunned or hurt is like a red flag being raised, they show it!
So if its a tko or KO or whatever he gets beat up! Prime Evander is a different guy than the one who hung around to long, you know that right?
This size banter has become so ****** its ruining the forum, if these guys were great talents along with being bigger than most that's one thing but they don't exhibit skills and techniques above ordinary, that's it that's my opinion and I was in this business for 50 years!!! I give credit for their spirit and success now but when you put them in with all around fighters with high skill levels they are "ordinary"!

I'm not using the Byrd fight, I just thought it was totally ridiculous to say because Holyfield gave Lewis a good fight and Vitali was leading Lewis on the scorecards then it's a foregone conclusion that Vitali would beat Holyfield as was the OPs suggestion.
I don't think Vitali looked particularly great against Byrd, but he's more than made up for that fight in other fights anyway.
I think Holyfield-Vitali could go either way. I'm simply picking Holyfield based on him impressing me vs better opposition than Vitali has impressed me against.

Also, Holyfield and Haye fight absolutely nothing alike.

What do you want either of the two to do... cut weight and go down to 220lbs so they meet your expectation of a fast heavyweight lol, its absolutely ridiculous.
Mr David Haye is a fast and agile fighter equal to or greater speed than some of the ATG's yet somehow his speed didn't play such a big factor.
Obviously its all rife because you'll just follow with the usual statement of he wasn't as skilled as {Insert ATG name here} so its null and void.
You can't be meaning to tell me you give them respect when you're saying they're slow and they're robotic this and that when Vitali is arguably the most impressive heavyweight we've had in recent years.
They may be 'ordinary' in your mind but in a division of several thousand fighters their seems to not have been one guy who has stepped close to them in how many years?
