Not bad for a three-fight string. I don't see Mikey being ready for Manny Pacquiao any time soon (he still needs to fight in Manny's weight neighborhood) but I expect Crawford would jump at the chance. Danny makes for a good style match with Manny too as he's a decent counterpuncher and we've seen his timing carry him through tough fights.

None of these aforementioned fighters are real threats for PAC the 'Fighter Of The Decade' or SuperStar. No mention of a real threat Keith One-Time Thurman. I will not buy anything less than a real competitive fight, not just to see a SuperStar named Pacquiao!Comment

This article...... people say things like, floyd should fight ggg or Lara or trout. But for pac with the exception of swift the other bouts are laughable. Pac should fight swift or matthysee or even maidana. Let's see pac in a real fight not these soup cans. Fighting algieri is hardly atg worthy. He could have fought Peterson at least. Fans are sick of this cap arum must make a real fight for pac. No more algieri or Rios fights. And nsb and ring magazine give this mess a pass. Seems a lot of people are on the top rank payroll. Ring even bumped pac up from 7 to 4 on the p4p list after the Rios debacle. Just too silly.Comment

wow, i like it lyle...but the thing is, jesse, mikey and crawford are too raw for a man named manny pacquiao...in a year or two these men may have enough to try against manny pacquiao but for now, its pointless to discuss...
the fight we've been waiting is manny-chickenfloyd...but if chickenfloyd still chickens out, i think danny garcia will will provide some excitement...
i agree though, that without chickenfloyd, pacquiao can bring much excitement to hardcore boxing fans only the fools and the ******ed fans of chickenfloyd believe otherwise...Comment

Wait a minute, mikey garcia fights at Jr ltwt (130lbs) how is that a fight worthy of a atg??????? What's going on here. Who's next Abner mares??? This is ridiculous even the writer is pushing for soft fights for pac. It's the same tired cap swear you're pushing for a floyd but all along are negotiating with another fighter. When floyd called pac direct to set up the fight pac refused and did not even negotiate he just complained to the press. Arum is again climbing on floyd back to set up pac next cream puff fight. And we all know it won't be swift garcia.Comment

im a pac fan but im sorry, that fight was pathetic.
algieri was flinching at pac's feints. the crowd was laughing about it when it happened.
that was an abomination of a fight. aglieri had no business being in the same ring as pacquiao.
even the excessive glove tapping was pathetic and it should be banned in boxing.
that was an embarrassing fight and an embarrassing opponent selection for pacquiao.Comment

Pac fans think any cream-puff is comp for pac ex: Mayweather should fight a middleweight who's koing middleweights, pac should fight lightweights they arent comparable, since the KO he hasnt fought anyone with punching power, I know they wanted to give him a few soft touches, but he is fighting BS and his fans are all for it, they dont demand nothing for competition, nothing at all. we see it and they cant understand why his ppv #'s are so low a person with the "so-called" reputation as pac has should be doing Mayweather #'s, where are all of his socalled "fans"? you cant keep blaming mayweather. You guys (pac fans) deride each and every mayweather opponent but he consistently has fans that actually pay for his ppv's where are all of these supposed manny fans? this is not to talk down manny but a plain and simple question where are all these fans when manny has a fight? all these supposed fans dont demand he fight any comp and dont buy his fights.Comment

I believe Arum needs to show he's doing everything possible due to pressure from every direction. Nobody seems to be interested in any other fight. The question always leads to: when will the fight happen. But deep down, that camp knows, esp. Pacquiao, that Floyd will never fight. They would not be able to generate much interest in another opponent until the public sees the direct, loud and clear refusal from Floyd.Comment
