When news comes out about Arum sitting down with Mayweather and Haymon, then we're talking. Arum talking to CBS means absolutely nothing.

I wouldn't be surprise if Mayweather come up with another EXCUSE!
I'm 99% sure that Floyd is SCARED of PacMan!
Mayweather is afraid about his health fighting Pacquiao!
He make Ali as an example. If Ali could take back his fight that damages his health he would! Basically what Mayweather said, was it's ok to avoid some fight especially the ones that can damage your health!
1%: I HOPE FLOYD GROW HIS BALL!

On Monday night, Greenburg finally did.
He took the Arum/Pacquiao side.
"Fights like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao are significant because of these fighters' ability to connect with sports fans around the world. It's unfortunate that it won't happen in 2010," Greenburg said in a statement. "I had been negotiating with a representative from each side since May 2nd, carefully trying to put the fight together. Hopefully, someday this fight will happen. Sports fans deserve it."http://m.espn.go.com/extra/boxing/story?storyId=5412488

I think some fans are so in love with Floyd that they cannot see that asking someone to change their promoter is as silly as asking them to change their trainer (Roach) ... change your promoter is unheard of ever! we have seen Floyd fight Delahoya fighters while he hates him, but Floyd did not mind that knowing he is surely going to win the battle/those fights.
honestly after Manny accepted the extra drug test (just coz Floyd things Manny has done amazing) and accepted the less money split, and ofcourse the venue, date, ring size, gloves ..... i would question anyone's b*lls if they ask Manny to agree and drop his 15 years promoter just to get the fight ... glad manny refused otherwise i would think of him as a Floyd's B**ch .... what's next? change your wife or religion to get a fight with me? lol
btw about de la hoya you have to understand its nothing similar to arum.
de la hoya hate for floyd is almost like a compliment to him almost like flattery it makes floyd feel good about himself while arum makes floyd feel like he got taken advantage of and with someone with the ego of floyd it is impossible to take. like i said the only floyd fight pacman with arum involve is if he is dead broke so i dont see it happening and if it does not anytime soon.
btw i want the fight im just being realistic and taking the situation as it is

add up the numbers first
floyd-guerrero :875k buys floyd gets 32 mil
floyd-canelo: 2.2 mil buys floyd gets 41.5 mil
floyd-maidana1: 850k buys floyd gets 32 mil
floyd-maidana2: ??? buys floyd gets 32 mil
Add up all the buys (that are available, since the maidana 2 official numbers aren't out) you get = 3,925,000 buys multiply that by the cost of the ppv ($75) you get a total of $294,375,000
Half of that money is going directly to floyd on guarranteed amounts. So how is it that showtime IS NOT losing money? They are not bringing any profits in, seems like they are just about breaking even.

Guess if he wasn't lying or exaggerating he should've taken the lie detector like Schaefer offered to, huh?

We get it you guys really like Manny and think he deserves whatever he wants. However, things like purse splits aren't determined by who has the most people garbaging up boxing forums. They're based on drawing power and revenue generated.

Lets just hope he and bob agree to a deal now.
Leonard Ellerbe declared on January 18, 2010, that random blood and urine testing will be implemented in all of Mayweather's future fights, regardless of the opponent. On February 13, 2010, in an exclusive interview with David Mayo of The Grand Rapids Press, Mayweather said, "I gave him [Pacquiao] a chance, up to 14 days out. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That's what it is."
That does not sound like 5 months later. Nice try dunn
