Lacy would have to KO Beyer no matter where they fight. Lacy hasn't got the skills to get a points win over A-level fighters with real skills (though i still think Beyer is the weakest of the major belt-holders)Originally posted by infestacidelacy would have to knock him out, because you cant win on points over there in germany.Comment

Beyer is a joke! I don't even know if you can call him world-class.Originally posted by dumdaneLacy would have to KO Beyer no matter where they fight. I think that I could of maybe beaten him (and I'm actually being serious).Comment

Lacy was purely outclassed by Calzaghe. Beyer is very lucky to still have his title. He's dodged the bullet on numerous occasions, and I think Lacy would catch him. Of course, I thought Jeff would catch Calzaghe, so you never can tell. I don't see Beyer giving Lacy a shot. I would like to see Beyer fight Kessler. Kessler would pick him apart en route to a one-sided victory. Then Kessler would have two belts, and Calzaghe would have two. Then, I'd love to see Super Middleweight unification.Comment

Frank Warren seems dead-set on avoiding that scenario. Just read on another site, that Warren has offered Beyer a fight. By fighting the easier of the two other remaining champs, Calzaghe can avoid a situation where Kessler is a rival unified champ.Originally posted by DIEGO DA HITMANLacy was purely outclassed by Calzaghe. I really think Calzaghe prefers NOT to fight Kessler. Kessler is ring-side at Lacy-Calzaghe. Talks to everyone about his ambition to fight Calzaghe. Says he'll follow Calzaghe to light-heavy if necessary. But it's not gonna do him any good. Calzaghe will keep pretending Kessler doesn't exist.Comment
