Horrendously bad fight card in Russia this weekend

Eduard Troyanovsky vs Jose Agustin Feria
Ruslan Provodnikov vs Jose Luis Castillo
Dmitry Kudryashov vs Juan Carlos Gomez
    Rakhim Chakhkiev vs TBA
    Andrey Klimov vs Gabino Cota
    Sergey Lipinets vs Ernie Sanchez
    Egor Mekhontsev vs Joey Vegas
    Sergey Kuzmin vs Nicolas Buule
Dmitry Bivol vs Jorge Rodriguez Olivera

    Truly awful.

Undefeated knockout artist Kudryashov 15-0, 15K.Os in an interesting fight against a very old but possibly still dangerous Juan Carlos Gomez. Probably the only fight that isn't a total mismatch then it could well be Gomez is 41 now.

Great to see Rakhim staying busy and getting another fight in before the year is out after making easy work out of Fragomeni. Good to see Egor keeping busy but wow this card sucks.

What makes it worse is Provo's going around acting like he's about to fight a prime Castillo.

I'd of thought they would of at least stacked the undercard. The whole event is a sham.

What I'd give for Castillo to turn the clock back though.

I remember a few years ago Castillo was supposed to fight Cotto's brother, but he came in way overweight and instead of using his allotted time to try and lose the weight, he and his team went out and ate lunch.

Cotto's brother said **** it and they cancelled the damn fight over it. Poor Castillo.

Joey Vegas is a bit of a step up for Egor Mekhontsev.

Dmitry Kudryashov vs Juan Carlos Gomez is an interesting matchup, a good test for The Russian Hammer.

Typical Eastern European card were they bring in a bunch of bums to make their fighters look good.

Rakhim's opponent is Jackson Junior 15-1 13K.Os stepping up from light heavyweight.

Not great but keeps him busy I suppose.
