Algieri really isn't as bad as the performance he put on last night. He is a really great boxer but he knew right off that Pac's power was too much and couldn't mount any sort of offense that he is used to doing. He was in full running mode. I knew before this fight that he was like an optical allusion and was very thin and probably not durable but he seemed to be able to recover decently after the knockdowns. Like many opponents who face Pac, they find that they can't land anything meaningful without getting hit by a hard left hand or right hook. Algieri does have a future in boxing if he can find a new d@mn trainer and team. He really showed professionalism last night by getting up and seeming to not be fazed or in panic. Obviously this green horn bit off more then he could chew last night with Pac, but with the right trainer I see him as a good boxer with a bright future. Haha but you guys gotta remember when someone in his corner said "Yea pump the jab! Fundamentals babyy!"
*cringing*
WTF? Uh , NO!
A "great boxer" can hang with Manny or any other elite level fighter. Nice try, dude.
1-Masters in nutritionist=missed weight while posted picture of meal before weigh in #championslifestyle
2-All that talk=gets dropped 6 times and looked like a damn bum
3-Corner says they planned for the ko but you only have 8 ko's
This was an epic fail and embarrassing...I spend 70 bucks to see this stiff uncoordinated guy flop around the damn ring
Exactly right!!!!!
All Algerie did was bounce\run around the ring and shuck and jive, landing no punches of consequence. A total white-wash to make Pac look good -- It was an embarrassment of a fight.
I would have been shocked if Pac didn't finish a moving target, that wasn't fighting back.
People actually hyped this guy, some even bet on him??? why?? this was disgraceful...i got up and left after the 9th round and went and got some pu22y...

Idk why you highlighted the ret@rded quote his corner said but yea either Tim Lane or one of them said that, and I was just like sweet lord this kid is screwed. He is a great boxer, he's not durable however. He couldn't mount an offense and establish range. Manny was too strong and is a much better puncher. Manny was to fast for him to counter, and when he did it was obvious he didn't have the power to hurt Pac. Last night Algieri's corner was ****ing delusional and kept lieing to him. With the right trainer, like maybe Virgil, I'd pick Algieri to UD Garcia, Broner, and Herrera

I didn't highlight it, dude. Look at your post. You did. I just replied.
The fact that you think he is a great boxer is laughable. Changing trainers will not help that. He isn't world class. He has heart, and he is smart. I give him that. But he doesn't belong at the world class level. Everybody you listed beats him.

Yea honestly I take that back. He just isn't durable or built for boxing. Not to mention he has very little power.
