He could have easily worked with Arum if he wanted or made the Mayweather fight. At worse, he'd have Khan, Garcia, Maidana, etc. available to him. Rios was unacceptable. So was Algieri. Comparing it to Maidana's and Guerrero's is lame because Rios and Algieri are a rung or two below. Territory a fighter like Manny shouldn't be in. He should have never re-signed with Arum.
Pac is not a smart man, you don't have to be educated to be smart. We are know now that Koncz works for Arum best interest not Paq, if he works for Paq best interest then the window of opportunity to be a free agent would be one which they would explore with Paq but they close that quickly as soon as it opened up, we see how Cotto has been able to enjoy the latter part of his career due to controlling his own career, he (Paq) is basically a slave where they tell him to turn up at so so so date and they tell him what they are paying him and he would say yes to everything... No questions ask.

I'm wondering if he just saw dollar signs and signed the contract right there? Wouldn't be the first time. I mean, was there anyone around him to tell him that he'd end up becoming a traveling circus around the world fighting the Algieri's and Vargas' of the world? It's mind-boggling. The act is tired, the PPV #'s will prove it, and if the Cold War isn't over, the act will be forgotten too.

Honestly I had to read it to myself a few times.

Pacquiao vs Algieri live on PPV

Look at Maidana's resume and look at Algieri's. And people complain about mismatches?

So if Floyd does it, then it's acceptable?

Dude, neither of them are. That doesn't mean that one fighter can just fall completely off the wagon and dig into the scrap heap for opponents.

Goddamit, don't get my hopes up for the fight. Don't do it on a football Sunday. Please!

A fight between Pac & Vargas would not be acceptable, that's when Todd, Arum step son would have to tell Arum, hey we are paying Pac 25 Mil here to fight tune ups. The way to make money is a solid challenging name fighter in the other corner. Some one needs to tell the old stubborn man.

Pac, you've had your fill of david diazes and now chris algeria.

We want to see either threatening opposition or at least get in the ring with a name fighter.

                      140 & 147 is full of threatening/named fighters.

                      fighting vargas is utterly unacceptable.

                      just stop that now.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Ghost, Ortiz, and Marcos all proved themselves at the weight class and were big af, and way bigger and stronger than Floyd.

Right now, I would be cool with Pac fighting Ortiz, and Ghost RIGHT NOW! They would be credible for him even though they havent even made any noise. You tried to be slick and compare Floyd's young strong opponents to Pac's superbums lol. Lets not talk about Marcos because right now he is a hot commodoty and I dont see Pac fighting anyone like Marcos anytime soon.

I dont mind Pac fighting Garcia, Ortiz, or any of the little daddies at 140. I would be PISSED If Floyd fought Garcia because Floyd has a habit of fighting big strong beasts!
