Compare that to the hatton knockout where manny was planted on the ground unloading instead of lunging in. Pac is still capable of putting guys to sleep, he just need to fight a game opponent.
It makes a difference in opponent. Mosley & Algieri ran so Pacquiao had to lunge in. Hatton & Cotto stood toe-2-toe and they got sparked.

Algieri tried to stand toe-2-toe once in this fight and got laid out Nasty!

Worst game plan ever created in history

Seriously? Knock Pacquiao out in the eleventh round? Chris Algieri who has less than 50% KO percentage and also going up in weight?

It's so freaking ****** I can't even express it in writing

I don't think they really had a plan, at least not one that would make sense here on planet earth.

Hatton wasn't consistently moving backwards, almost running like Mosley and Algieri were. Manny didn't need to think about Hatton moving back, so he knew he could sit down and punch while Hatton came in.

Throw Pac in with a come forward fighter and he turns into a counter-punching bomber.
