Macau, China - Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach was "disappointed" with the performance of Chris Algieri on Saturday night. Roach's main fighter, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, dropped Algieri six times to win a dominating twelve round unanimous decision. It was one of the most lopsided decisions in a pay-per-view main event. Pacquiao was ahead by 18 points on one card (120-102) and 16 points on the remaining two tallies (119-103).
Algieri, although undefeated and the WBO champion at 140-pounds, has only 8 knockouts to his record and frustration grew as he was unable to hurt Pacquiao with his best punches.
