Remember before Floyd went to jail Arum was talking about building a stadium lol. Now he's saying it has to be at cowboys stadium. We all know Floyd is gonna finish his career at the MGM Grand so forget about this fight. Get ready for Pac vs Vargas and May vs Khan. That is all.

He is not saying it HAS to be at cowboy stadium. He's saying it could be an option. As a promoter isn't his job to make the fight as big as possible?

Pac is clearly towards the end of his career. He's still a draw, but not the same draw he was 5 years ago. Why wouldn't a promoter who takes a 27% cut of all Pacquiao revenue not want to make the biggest fight in boxing?

You'd have to ask him that. But keep in mind that the "biggest fight in boxing" isn't the biggest moneymaker for Arum. It would be for Pacquiao though.

He takes 27% of Pacquiao's revenue. Meaning the more Pac makes the more Arum would put in his pocket. Arum knowing his pupil is on the decline, possibly just a few more fights before he fully commits to politics in his country, wouldn't want to cash Pac out with the biggest fight he could make?

I believe both sides are to blame in this whole saga.

Floyd and his team could have done more on his end to make the fight happen but so could Arum. In the past, Arum has blatantly agreed to Pacquiao's future fights before he had even fought is upcoming ones, before they would have ever got chance to negotiate a Mayweather fight.

There is blame on both sides here i think...but now it may be even more difficult, now we have two separate TV Networks in the mix who probably don't want to give up their slice of the pie. Their job now is to sit down and think if a lesser % of the money generated for Mayweather v Pacquiao is still more than 100% of a Mayweather v Khan or something.

I think this fight still generates huge money and breaks records. A fight of this size is one that casual and non-fans will still tune in to because they know their names. They probably don't even know they are past prime and faded fighters, nor do they care. Mayweather v Pacquiao confirmed with the right advertisement and hype is as big as ever financially i feel, even if it's not from a boxing perspective.
