Give Pacquiao some credit. We've waited years for Manny to properly call Floyd out, live on the big screen after a win. Manny doesn't strike me as someone who would dodge. He knows that's a pretty tough task ahead of him but I bet he also believes that he could find a way to win.

Unfortunately, his promoter is also aware that it's a risky matchup that could cause him to lose it all. Can you imagine if Mayweather and Pacquiao fought and Floyd stops him? Arum would die. Literally. His heart would give out. He (note: he, not Manny) can make more promoting in-house fights and he'll do that for as long as he can.

Mayweather v Pacquiou 5 years ago, Pacquiou knocks him out. If they fight next year, it's more 50/50. Probably favour Mayweather but Pacquiou is a live dog.

Floyd will avoid it like the plague.

          Not going to happen.

          He is such a coward.

Not really, Pacquiao already lost to Bradley and got KOed by Marquez. I don't think it will be the end of the world for Arum or Pacquiao. Only thing good that will happen from the loss is they would stop being asked whether Floyd and Pacquiao would fight. I'm sure people will still watch Pacquiao fight, there's still some intriguing matchups for him after Floyd.

Sure he would buddy! Lol Bobby Arum don't think so or he would have agreed to the numerous of offers.

Arum is the big obstacle to Mayweather-Pac fight.

I don't think either boxer is "scared" of the fight. They are both very, very close to the ends of their careers and now is probably a good time for them make it happen. Neither guy has any alternative opponents that will make them the $$s they will against each other. This "sport" is all about the money so now is the time.

But Arum is the big obstacle.

Nah. I hear what you're saying but I disagree. What's carried Pacquiao through those losses and allowed him to remain relevant is the possibility of a Mayweather fight. Should that happen and he loses, it's over. You're overlooking the human aspect. Pacquiao isn't going to be motivated to fight anyone for a long time after a loss like that and when he does come back, he'll look a lot different. I'm too tired to go into further detail but hopefully this subject comes up again.
