I would definitely agree with this.

As far as Khan goes, I'm sure he would beat Algieri, probably by UD. However I do not think he would knock him down 6 times lol... maybe once.

I suppose Bradley is a better example of what I'm referring to, he is a more complete boxer/mover than Algeri, and again going back to your point, Pac handled him too. So
I think Bradley had an ankle injury in the second fight and that hindered his movement later on, not using it as an excuse, it's just what happens in boxing sometimes, it's upto Pac to capitalize on that, and he did so. Tough luck Bradley.
. . . yes valid opinion you do make, but you do understand where I'm coming from, I suppose Keith Thurman/Lomachecko is a good example of what I'm referring to with complete boxers who move well and have the other fundamentals to go with it.

its crazy to see how all these fighters and pro trainers had aligeri giving pac problems, i guess this fight really put algieri's true skill into perspective

but yeah i see your point

I think alot of people were just trying to be optimistic about the fight. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Pac still had work to do though, and he got it done.

What top fighter at 147 doesn't beat Algieri?

Pac just annihilated him, Mayweather would embarrass him, Brook would blast him out...Thurman, Bradley, Khan - all these guys beat him up.

BS Khan was available as well as offering Pac the fight.
Let's be real Khan would of given a better and entertaining fight then the runner Algeri.
I'm tired of this who deserves and who doesn't I want to see good fights, challenging fights..

I don't think much of Khan, but I think he stops Algeri pretty easy. More than likely, Algeri's going to get passed around the TR guys like Vargas & Crawford.

In my opinion it was more about having the physical tools .

Algieri has the physical tools to be somebody you don't look good against: he's tall for jww, has a long reach, is fast enough of hand and foot.

Given the fact he is perceived as a boxer people were drawn to believe he could give Pac problems.

Unfortunately the fight wasn't even competitive and Algieri looked like a dazed and confused version of Lara (and to make things worse I believe his coach was kinda stoned, he should work with Chavez Jr if you ask me)
