I don't recall Floyd ever fighting Khan at this moment in time.

But genuinely speaking, Maidana is better than Algeri

Algieri was just another flat footed, come forward brawler with no foot movement or ring generalship coming off a huge loss. Just like every other typical Pacquiao opponent.

Well let's be honest, the people who were picking Algeri to give Pac problems were A. either people with an agenda against Pac, or B. I dunno, just not really clued up on who Algeri really is.

I admit, I was intrigued to see how this fight went, I guess even I was swayed by their opinions, but I did expect Pac to win this one by UD (was even hoping for a TKO) . . But either way, just look at Algeri and Maidana's resumes and try and tell me different.

Maidana has a better resume than Algeri, but the issue is, Floyd had better opponents as possibilities to fight. Pacquiao didn't.

but even dating back as far as i can remember people only say pac has success against people who stand still and are flat footed, and would have trouble with a mover/runner

and maidana has the better resume i cant deny that, but even though maidana is a come foward brawler with some deceiving skill, he still has slow feet and slow hands, the type of guy floyd/manny picks apart. like i said previously people have continuously said stuff like pac only looks good against flat footed guys. now here is beating a guy who is the complete opposite

Granted you have a point, I respect your opinion, but I think there is a little more to it than just this. . . Algeri isn't a complete boxer, or doesn't have very good ring IQ/experience, it's one thing to move alot, but if all you're doing is moving, and you don't have the ability to set faints/traps/switch rhythm/control ring generalship and dictate the pace of the fight then/or even have any sort of pop in your jab let alone put combinations together. . . if all you are doing is moving, then really it's just a matter of time before you get you know, Pacquiao'd in this case.

I suppose Bradley is a better example of what I'm referring to, he is a more complete boxer/mover than Algeri, and again going back to your point, Pac handled him too. So
I think Bradley had an ankle injury in the second fight and that hindered his movement later on, not using it as an excuse, it's just what happens in boxing sometimes, it's upto Pac to capitalize on that, and he did so. Tough luck Bradley.
. . . yes valid opinion you do make, but you do understand where I'm coming from, I suppose Keith Thurman/Lomachecko is a good example of what I'm referring to with complete boxers who move well and have the other fundamentals to go with it.

Khan isn't steam rolling anyone, he's decisioning Algieri in a 8-4 type boxing match.

Why do you say that? If al haymon is willing to let Garcia(one of his cash cows) to fight pacquiao, are you that dumb to believe that he wouldnt have allowed maidana, Thurman, Alexander, or porter to fight him? Those fighters were available, it's just that pacquiao wouldn't have the balls the face any of these ww's, which is why he went to espn to find his next opponent.
