Not too hard to play on the casuals when you throw around prestige like that....
I'm a junkie so ill buy it I just don't see how that sells to regular sport fans in America. It will only work in Asia, which is fine, they're cleaning up there.

Arum will just choose the winner of that fight.

I'm boycotting any PPP mismatches thats non-competitive.
No more ppv of Pac or Floyd unless they fight each other. I'm not paying for some Hollywood star to spar. Boxing is a competitive sort.

I have a feeling that the PPV numbers will be really, really bad. I mean damn the Rios fight numbers were bad and that had twice the appeal as this fight.

Arum is full of it. Mayweather had forced Pacquiao to fighting China. Impossible that Pacquiao ever dares set foot ever again on American soil

I'd say the same thing but, they both look a little washed up relative to their previous dominance. The reason ill keep buying is, they might get upset by someone. I can't imagine missing the historical moment that signals the end of them.

Oh I agree I just don't think they give a ****. I don't know all the details but the fight fee Macau pays, the fact it brings in more ******** proceeds than Vegas, plus no taxes, makes fighting there a great choice. Although this recent article might say otherwise for their future.

Yeah that's why I think (well at least hope) that when Arum says that Manny is fighting in Vegas next time out, that it means it will be against a more attractive opponent (and I'm not talking about looks hectari wherever you are).

They took the Rios fight out to Macau...which was a get well fight, and then came back stateside for Bradley 2. Which was a legitimate big fight. Now they're back out in Macau with Algeiri (considered a tuneup by most), and hopefully they'll be back in Vegas with a much bigger name next time out. Then we'd have a trend.

It makes business sense to take the **** fights that are almost guaranteed to do poor PPV numbers out to Macau -- which so far is exactly what Bob has done.

And interesting article by the way. I'm no expert on ******** revenue numbers -- but 23% is a helluva drop.

I actually don't see why they go back to America to be honest. And ya 23% is a big drop for a month, but, when you consider in 2013 they took in 45 billion of revenue, if the numbers are the same this year, it's really only less than a billion for the year. They ****in love baccarat over there lol
