All I'm saying is that Paulie changed his tune pretty fast on Manny, and it started with the result of the Cotto fight.

Originally posted by Mike D View PostThe funny thing is, Paulie virtually had a change of heart overnight on Manny. Somebody posted that video not too long ago where Paulie was interviewed right before the Manny/Cotto fight. He was gushing praise over Manny at that time. I mean it would be one thing if he was making all these insinuations back when Manny was f**king up Hatton, De La Hoya, etc.
That would be one thing. But he wasn't.
His stance before the Cotto fight was that Manny was an amazing fighter, an all-time great even -- but was just finally biting off more than he could chew against Cotto. And then Manny proceeded to use Miguel as target practice for 11 and a half rounds before the fight was stopped, and then overnight Paulie started making these constant insinuations.
It's pretty amazing how quickly he turned on him. And by the way, the ******ed f**king logic about the Cotto fight as far as the PED insinuations: It wasn't power that overwhelmed Cotto. It was pure, blinding speed. PEDs don't make you faster lmfaooooo gotdamn people are so f**king ******.
To see a little guy come up from a smaller weight class and destroy Cotto must have been galling for his pride, it became that much easier to latch onto an alternative explanation.
Incidentally, I don't think Pacquiao's power has changed at all, he has just fought more boxer-movers who start running when they get hit instead of guys like De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto and Margarito who came forward thinking they could overpower the little Filipino as well as a couple of other guys like Clottey and Rios who covered up bigtime.Last edited by Weebler I; 11-22-2014, 01:16 AM.
