Don't know if anyone picked up on these interesting comments by Tony Bellew at the Final Press Conference for the Nathan Cleverly fight.
He seemed to be implying that Cleverly's drinking had got so far out of control, that he's been going to AA meetings to remedy it. Did the defeat to Kovalev have a bigger effect on him than we thought? Or has he always had a drinking problem?
And the most interesting part was when Bellew started whispering in the Face-to-Face about how Vince Cleverly, Nathan's father and former trainer, needed to "stay away from young girls". Could this be the real reason he was fired as Nathan's trainer?
Obviously Bellew is trying to get into Cleverly's head but I didn't get the feeling that he was flat out lying and Nathan didn't seem to try to deny any of it.
Most interesting part of the build-up so far for me. He really went personal on him.
