Same way Usain Bolt beats Jesse Owens.

Put Jeremy Lin in the NBA in the 60's and he would dominate lol

Evolution in training, nutrition and the human body in general give Floyd an advantage.
For the sake of argument, is Jeremy Lin better than Dr. J, Magic, Isiah Thomas?

I think in Sugar Ray era, Floyd probably wouldnt be a welter. He kind of small but he does have long arms.

Not that Floyd hasnt beaten bigger guys but SRR was like 5'10 with power, speed, and threw combos.

Mayweather would probably be a lightweight.

Floyd would demand a catchweight, pillow gloves, and Kenny Bayless and still get KTFO!

Robinson beats Floyd because he fought and beat much the better competition.

          Evolution? Shut up.

I am one of Mayweather's biggest fans ; but I am also a realist. S Ray Robinson would have destroyed any fighter at his best. There is no doubting that!!!

I have boxed and been a student of boxing for many years, and I studied every style between every champion in history and came to the conclusion that there will never be another S R Robinson.

The Leonard and Hearns who fought and won championships at 175 wouldn't stand a chance against Michael Spinks at 175 because that was not their natural or best weight. I believe Floyd, in his prime, would have beaten Duran at 135. However, once he moved up to 140 and 147 he didn't have his same power or speed, so it is not appropriate to compare him, especially at age 37 to a prime SRR or Leonard, Pryor or Arguello.
Floyd Jr. never fought pro at less than 129.5 pounds. Arguello fought as light as 117 pounds, fought at less than 129.5 in 47 fights, and had fought more fights a 139 or under than Floyd has fought fights. The same goes for J.C. Chavez. As for Floyd Jr. beating Duran at any weight - especially 135 dream on. Duran (who had more fights a 140 or lower than Floyd Jr. has had fights) would have beaten Floyd Jr. at any weight at any time during his career. Watch Duran vs Leonard 1 and tell me that Floyd Jr. has ever fought the equivalent fight at any time in his career. He hasn't, and the only fight opponent who would have give Floyd Jr the opportunity to raise his game to that level was Pacquiao - but that was several years ago, and Floyd Jr. refused the fight. And as for comparing Floyd Jr to any of these other fighters, I am saying that with Floyd Jr. at his prime, Hearns and Leonard still destroy Floyd Jr. Aaron Pryor weighed less than 140 for all but 9 of his forty fights and never fought at 150 + pounds as did Floyd Jr. for two fights: however, Pryor would have beaten Floyd Jr. 9 out of ten times. Believe me, Floyd Jr. would not have fared well against the fighters I listed.
