Roach is absolutely right. Mayweather has been ducking this fight for 3 years. There ain't no way he fights him now after the Maidana (C level fighter) performances.

According to Roach, Mayweather's legs have been gone since the Mosley fight back in 2010.

Hey, he's going be right one of these days.

Not only does Roach doubt CBS, he knows he also doubts Arum (but he can't say it.):

A high-ranking HBO official told me this week that the supposed talks were more Arum fantasy than reality. Still, Arum insisted that they are making headway.

"These are not the caliber of people telling me stuff to massage me on something that isn't true," Arum said. "If I am told the other side is interested and involved and it comes from a source I can rely on, I can rely in it. I'm emboldened this time the fight will happen because I have been informed Floyd will also take the fight. But I don't want to say anything that f---- it up."

            Informed by who?

There's also an old saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." In the case of this fight, maybe it should be: "Fool me 25 times, shame on you. Fool me 50 times, shame on me," because it was just about a week ago when Arum totally contradicted himself by saying, "Floyd is reluctant to fight Manny Pacquiao, period. If people don't see that by now, they are never going to see it."

Year's ago Arum uttered his most famous quote to a reporter, and, for better or worse, it has stuck to him like glue: "Yesterday I was lying, but today I'm telling the truth."

So which is it? We'll take what's behind door No. 1.

The fact of the matter is floyd doesn't want to fight. Pac is not sitting on an egg (zero loss)like floyd is. This is what matters to floyd TBE.LOL.

Back in 2010 maidana would have been just a stay busy fight for floyd instead of two close rematches. Pac being an aggressive fighter with quick feet and hands, punching power and a southpaw. This style is floyds worst nightmare.

That's one way to look at it. OR it could be that pressure fighters with a good work-rate and a jab are more difficult for Floyd than most of your normal orthodox fighters.

Manny, unlike Maidana, doesn't have a size or reach advantage, doesn't have a jab and can't cut off a ring.

If I were to draw up Manny's worst nightmare, it would be a guy with power, great stamina, defense, footwork, a jab, great right hand, who can also move and is a great counter-puncher. Sans the punching power, that is Floyd.

and back in 2010 Pac wouldnt take a PED test, to set up the fight, pac isnt aggressive anymore, the KO changed that, his feet and hands are no longer there as evidenced by his las few fights, his punching power has be GONE since he has been doing PED testing (hmmmm) and floyd hasnt ever lost to a south paw. So what other imaginary crap you think is going on? Manny is .500 in his last fights, he is done at the end of his career trying to make some money to stay out of jail for tax evasion. He was the one who turned down the last fight offer, he has admitted it.

pretty much even floyd's own fans are starting to get tired of his excuses.
