"My question is why did a 147 title holder ever fight Ruslan who had 0 147 fights in the 1st place..A win over Jose Reynoso at 140 got him a title shot at 147??"

You are not speaking logically, obviously this was a very evenly matched fight that Bradley thought he could..WIN EASILY. Bradley is the one who accepted the fight and it didn't pan out the way he would have liked. Belts are OVERRATED IN boxing and you should know this by now.

I think what you really want to say is that "Bradley really should have thought twice about accepting this fight, because he ended up getting his ass beat"

Larry we both know winning titles, for the most part, means **** all. Ruslans loss to bradley is better than any win broner has because Bradley's twice the fighter of any one broner has beat. So a close lose is better than beating Escobedo or ponce for a **** title.

I would like to see a rematch between these two, Bradley got the fights he wanted out of the way like a second fight with Pac & a fight with Marquez. I think it's time to make this rematch or at least fight a GBP fighter once he beats Chavez by decision.

In today's day and age winning a title doesn't necessarily mean you beat anyone note-worthy. Damn net everyone is a champion of some sort.

Bradley wins the rematch or gets knocked out by prov???
it would be a good fight that I'd pay to see but imo once Bradley fought smart he'd win much more clearly than last time. he's just a better technical boxer than provo who's really entertaining but can only fight one way.

                  On Bradley vs Ruslan rematch...

What's the point? Do you think Bradley will trade in the rematch? Ruslan will win zero round in the rematch. Fans should have realized by now that clinching and running have become perennial defense tactics employed by fighters nowadays. Bradley beat veteran Marquez didn't he? So what do you think Ruslan would do anything different?

If you're a real fan you'd be interested in Algieri vs Bradley. It would be a chess match.

I don't know why you're putting quotation marks around the word "lost." Ruslan did lose those fights and he acknowledged losing to Bradley. And don't pretend that Ruslan came out of the Bradley fight unmarked. He's extremely overrated.

imo Bradley is still too fast for Algieri and would beat him in his own game. Bradley's jab is underrated and its lightning quick. With his hit-first-pivot/shoulder roll- out style (like he did against JMM) Algieri would have haaard problems finding the target trying to counter him.

Then when Algieri wants to exchange, Bradley goes squirrel mode like he always does, then back to pop and pivot. clear UD.
