It appears to be the way forward, however my worry is that Wlad wins, then retires & we're back to square one with multiple alphabet title holders. Unification is the only way to save the sport, but seems to get more difficult by the day!

Pretty sure Wlad wouldn't mind coming to the US to expose wilder. Even If Wilder even somehow gets passed stiverne

That's true, and Bryant Jennings is mandatory for the winner. It's possible Wlad might offer Jennings a shot at his titles, to give himself a clear path to the WBC belt. That would be a good fight and would create a lot of interest in the USA.

My point is he's gone for so long without the WBC belt, he can go on longer. After his wrestling match with Povetkin he doesn't deserve a shot.

The WBC strap stays in the US.

It would be great if Wlad got the WBC belt and retired. He has nothing left to prove. Why continue risking injury when you already have money, fame and undisputed heavyweight champ?

Other than Stiverne winning to face Wlad, who else is out there?
Jennings,Glazkov,Fury and I would have said Ortiz until he failed his testing.not a great many options but all the while the likes of Parker,Joshua,Ruiz and Martin can blossom further.

Why? Because you know he'd lay out Wilder if they ever fought?

The WBC makes me sick. Remember when the late, Suilaman said that WBC belt holders couldn't hold any other belts? Well I've noticed that they only enforce that BS rule with the low-profile fighters. Guys like Floyd, Garcia, and Wlad get a pass. I loathe the WBC...

This is what I fear the most. After Wladimir is done, even if someone manages to beat him and unify all 5 belts (6 including The Ring), there isn't anyone who will have enough cash and recognition to pay fees to 5 different sanctioning crooks (IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC, WBO). We'll most likely see a Bowe situation with some clown like Fury or Wilder throwing one belt in the trash, followed by the splintering of the "undisputed" title all over again.
