      Algieri wins its him.
      ALgieiri loses and Crawford wins-Crawford.
      They both lose-Gonzalez or Kovalev.

I was gonna say Kovalev because I thought he had also beaten Sillakh this year. Hopkins is a great win, but then he has those two unknown stiffs Agnew and Caparello. No way.

Burns, Gamboa, Beltran should easily get TC the FOTY award.

Destroying Darchinyan and Donaire deserves a mention for Walters, but he just one top 10 win short.

TC gets it if he beats Beltran. Walters gets it if TC loses.

There is absolutley no chance in hell Gonzalez gets it. He beat Arce and some unknown dude who just got TKO'ed after fighting Johnny.

          Crawford
          Pacquiao
          Walters
          Algieri

          For me^

Are Crawford and Walters really considered fighter of the year candidates, I mean really. If they are then that means this year of boxing is way worst then I originally thought.

I mean beating a the shell of Ricky Burns, the same Ricky Burns who many posters said lost his last two fights in a row and former featherweight who's only victory at lightweight was an unranked Darley Perez who was coming of a win against an complete bum really enough to be considered fighter of the year. Even if Crawford beats Beltran I don't think it'll be enough to be FOTY.

As for Walters, I don't even have to say anything about that, I mean come on.

Kovalev, well his year hasn't been spectacular, he did dominate two unbeaten fighters, and then beat a top 3 fighter in his division and unified in his weight class.

when you have to ask this when trying to figure out the best year in boxing, you know it's been a bad, bad year.

the fighter of the year's accomplishments are becoming less and less worthy of being remembered.
