Bradley has not fought a full sized welterweight, nor has bradley fought a welter weight contender. Pac and marquez dont count because 1 marquez is not a welterweight and 2 pac is but pac is not full sized. Bradley is a good win for Pac but its not a good welterweight win. Also Bradley didnt even fight anybody at welterweight to get the Pac fight, and even after, Bradley still hasnt fought a real welterweight.

Funny that you Floyd fans are crying because Manny wants to go down to 140 to try it out but now saying that he is not a WW. Wow, just wow! Lame excuses because Arum/Roach said that they were choosing between Berto, Mosley and Marquez and they chose Mosley who previously Arum said wasn't even worth the time after the way he performed against Mora. You're down playing Guerrero and such but who's Algeri? Vargas in the near future? Why are these names even mentioned? Manny could have even fought Ortiz at WW. Manny hasn't fought anyone since Cotto worth mentioning.

Mosley brought Floyd good money and they went for the named fighter. That's all. I for one wasn't thrilled that they were doing that but that doesn't change the fact that Berto had a weak resume. Perhaps you forgot this point but this was being repeated back then over and over again. I even remember commenting on that it wasn't his fault about the earthquake as he was supposed to finally start fighting better quality opponents but got stalled.

That is why I say, it's all smoke and mirrors. Even here you bring up Ortiz, Guerrero but if you look at Berto's resume then see that he has no defense, well, it's clear. Even others have exploited this deficiency of Berto's.

Ortiz? He was hyped for beating Berto but people forget that he got knocked down twice in that fight and had nothing else to show for at WW. Even today, besides that, Ortiz still has no wins at WW.

Arum line is because Arum knew that Mosley fight would not happen because Mosley was with GB .... Mosley had to leave.

I never said anything about Mayweather we were discussing Pac but since you brought it up, Guerrero was his first fight out of jail, had two welterweight wins and held a title, also it was Mayweathers first fight out of Jail! If your not going to knock pac for beating Cotto at a catch weight then you have no business diminishing Mayweathers win over Canelo. Maidana had a super world title, number 1 welterweight for WBA, and his name was hot. I dont know why you brought up Mayweather because we were discussing Pac

actually thurman was the wba number 1, maidana was number 2 after his win against broner. (if I remember correctly). So basically floyd fought the guy that ducked thurman, twice.

Of course Mosley over Berto after he was beat by Mayweather and had a draw with Mora but before Roach didn't want no parts of Shane when he beat Margarito. Mosley went to Roach's gym begging for the fight and Roach wouldn't let it happen without an unrealistic catch weight. This has happened and not me making it up either.
