Hagler. Took Hagler about 7 years of being ducked before he got the title and was considered the guy at 160.

Stop it man,let him grow as a fighter and stop trying to compare him to accomplished greats...he is not even close to being there right now

reminds me a bit of sonny liston ... clearly the best in his division, knocking the sweet holy **** out of everybody ... ducked and avoided by the man cotto/martinez --> patterson.

I can't think of anyone who has come from a great amateur career to dominate the pros as fast and as completely as GGG. He now has 18 straight KOs with many of those KOs over middleweights that were rated among the ten best in the world when he fought them. He is the uncrowned king of the middleweights and much better than any other middleweight fighting today. Hagler and Hopkins were great middleweights but they did not get to be recognized as the world's best middleweight as quickly and easily as GGG.
