Which past fighters career most closely resembles GGG?

He was a decorated amateur,345-5 and in his 8 years as a pro has amassed a 31-0 record with 28 knockouts.

I can't think of a fighter that career parallels Gennady Golovkin. Now I know his legacy is not cemented yet,but he has been a pro for several years.

His pro resume is atrocious and he stayed in the amateurs too long..350 fights is way too much.

He shows flaws against bargain basement comp so you can see why his team are in no hurry to take some risks.
