Who did Mike Tyson face that you could say is a worthy adversary to make us all believe he was the absolute beast that most of us believe he was back in the 80s and early 90s?
I just want to know because I think when we look further down the line when he faced top quality opposition we only then began to see his limitations.
My best bet for his best win would probably be 38yo Larry Holmes who never aged well with his boxing career and was coming off two consecutive losses prior to fighting Tyson.
Was prime Mike Tyson even really properly tested...
I guess Buster Douglas could be one to talk about that and whilst he was a good fighter he was no world class fighter, so what makes people think Tyson would beat champions like Lennox Lewis, Wladimir/Vitali Klitschko and Holyfield if all those fights happened in the 80s if obviously both fighters were in their respective 'prime'?
