loads of americocentric bull**** in yet another article by lyle but i agree that briggs would make one heck of an interesting build up and get lots of otherwise apathetic people watching.

The only reason this fight might take place is that Klitschko may need to put Briggs in a coma so he can get on with his own life, free of that wrinkly nut bag and his TMZ posse.
      THIS^^^

Wladimir Klitschko vs Briggs would either end in the actual death of Briggs, or put him straight into palliative care for the rest of his life.

I know he SEEMS strong to some people but the guy is definitely in an advanced state of pugilistic dementia, maintained by roids to the gills.

Only in the USA can a guy like this get a boxing license in the first place!

Nobody wants to see Shannon die or be handicapped. That would be a massive blow for boxing.

This fight can never happen for those reasons!

Yeah Chisora is a credible opponent.

            but
How about a HW tournament? Winner gets a shot at Wlad.
Briggs can take part in the tournament.
Briggs, Fury, Chisora, Wilder and Jennings would make a heck of a tourney, in the meantime we can get Stiverne v Wlad. Done.

Yeah HW tournament is exactly what the division needs right now.

Like when King had one in the 80's when Tyson unified.

It would be the biggest event in boxing all up I reckon ever!

Briggs will have to beat a top 10 guy before I support him fighting Wlad.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Shannon Briggs though, is now ranked No.7 by the WBA.
Obviously, somebody in the USA must have thrown a lot of money behind him, which means that a match between Briggs and Wlad is being viewed as a serious proposition stateside.

Hopefully, Wlad will have enough integrity to tell them to f**k off with it. What a terrible advert for the sport that match would be.

A unification battle between Wilder and Wlad in the USA is probably the "cash out" that the people backing Deontay are hoping to pull off. So all he has to do now is beat Stiverne. Mmm ...
