as for name value over actual value lol sure buddy.

bradley right now is the #2 rated welterweight behind only floyd and manny.

    right now.

the bradley that fought manny twice would beat the baldomir, ortiz, mitchell, guerrero, and maidana that floyd faced.
But he isn't fighting Tim now. his ranking now is based on more ww fights. that's my only point.

You can't take a fighter's status at his best weight and just apply it when he fights in another class. Tim was a great JWW, no question. He isn't a great ww. Baldomir is an average fighter at best-but he managed to beat the best ww when he got his chance. Tim has not done that.

Its like suggesting beating roy at HWT would be equivalent to beating him at MW.

You are entitled to your opinion.

This fight makes a LOT of sense for Khan, not so sure about Pacquiao... but it is a great fight IMHO. It creates buzz as clearly shown in this thread, I believe it would be a very successful PPV.

And hey, the winner puts that much more pressure on Floyd.

WAR PACQUIAO THOUGH!!! I truly believe he butchers Khan. All your chin are belong to us.

He's "saying," but he's not "signing." This doesn't make a difference to you, but to others like myself, it's make a huge difference. Think about Amir Khan. Devon Alexander had the IBF WW title. Adrien Broner had the WBA WW title. Khan chooses to avoid Alexander, Maidana takes the WBA title from Broner in high fashion. Floyd chooses Maidana over Khan, and Khan is upset. Khan's words were saying I want to be the WW champion, but his deeds say something different. Even today, Khan is Floyd's WBC mandatory, Thurman is Floyd's WBA mandatory. What would be Khan's BEST move to secure the fight with Floyd? Of course, beat Thurman, and become the guy Floyd MUST face. He chooses Alexander NOW, when Alexander is NOT a champion. Again, he puts himself at risk of not getting the fight, but that could have been avoided by beating Thurman. His words don't match his deeds!

But Bradley did not fight Baldomir, Guererro, Ortiz, Maidana, Cotto, Canelo, Khan, Thurman, etc. He beat Abregu and Casamayor, and then got a shot at Pacquiao. He lost twice to Pacquiao, and survived Provodnikov. BTW, he can't be #2 if he's behind both Mayweather and Pacquiao, I think that would make him at least #3.

Agreee...this version of Kahn is dangerous to pac..cuz Kahn does his burst of combos then clinches instantly...and we all know Manny has no inside game. He always looks lost when clinching. Gr8 fight tho, I think it would be huge in the uk

rankings arent always about now. its historical. & pacquiao fought bradley at welterweight which is what we are talking about.

& yes, im entitled to my opinion just like yours and neither of our opinions matter in the grand scheme of things.

floyd is the ring champ at welter.

manny is the #1 contender. bradley is behind him.

bradley beats all those guys. lol at you including canelo. wtf does he have to do with welterweights?

this has more chances of happening than pacquiao vs mayfeather. so which money fight tbe will be left with if khan is taken? he'll have to rematch either canelo or cotto.

garcia will tank worse in the ppv than the maidana fights. i have no problem with that.

I think Bradley was just trying to get a fight with Cotto @ 154, but I get your point. My bad! Again, you can say he can beat all those other WWs, but you know who he's fighting? Diego Chaves. What does that tell you? He's fighting the guy that Thurman already KO'd, and not Thurman. BTW, since this is a Khan thread, you do know Bradley did duck Khan several times? Google it.

He's not the people's champ in this country. That's why he's not cashing people's champion checks.
