The fight means nothing, so what if loma wins he didn't beat salido when it matter and guy was past his prime then and salido will be a shell of himself if they fight

That fight was BS. Laurence Cole was reffing and let Salido foul like crazy with the nut shots. Salido also came in overweight. Seriously, **** that fight.

Loma will murk Salido if it does happen now.

Who do you think wins this fight.
Siri wins via stoppage at 130 due to better power and because Loma is now sporting a **** 80's haircut.

I guess it would be similar to their first fight. You think that Lomachenko improved significantly just one-two fights after the Salido loss? I don't think so. Maybe this time Loma would win by SD on a hard fight or maybe Salido in the same fashion as last time but I really don't see that Lomachenko improved so much that he would KO easily Salido on their rematch. Maximum a convincing UD win, Lomachenko doesn't seems to me a particularly big puncher. His KO on his first fight was nice but after that I didn't see anything from him what suggests that he is a big hitter and he would KO Salido. And Salido at this time would fight in a comfortable weight he wouldn't have to (try to) drain himself. But I don't know why Loma wants that rematch already. Just stay in featherweight and try to unifiy. Other champs want it also and 126 is a better division right now than the 130.

He doesn't need to improve significantly, fight was very close, he just needs to take none of Salido's b/s and insist on a competent referee.

People talking about Salido drained, but after weighing in overweight the guy went into the ring as a welterweight at 147lbs, while Loma went in as a lightweight at 136lbs.

But honestly, the first fight wasn't entertaining and I have no burning desire to see a rematch any time soon. Lomachenko v Axe man is the big fight right now.

Would love to see Loma put that snag into the hospital.

I will always be a Slido fan for what he did to JuanMA, but I think Loma wins the rematch, and by KO.

Loma picks up where he left off in the championship rounds, and makes it look easy en route to a UD win.

He'll be ready for all those BS, spoiler tactics of Salido (can't hate on him really - he did what he had to do), and time him, and step-back counter punch those wide, looping shots - in particular Salido's money punch - the overhand right... Which despite being ugly, and technically unsound, is very effective. But Loma won't let him just burrow inside and spoil - he'll take a half-step back, and unleash brutal, nasty, powerful combinations to the head and body of Salido.

Lomachenko would need to be careful with what he asks for, he needs to get a referee who breaks the clinches up like the referee in control of the Wladimir vs Kubrat fight.
Whenever a clinch happened the referee would separate them both up, this is exactly what didn't happen in the Loma vs Salido fight!
Its exactly what cost Loma the fight, that and the referee not acknowledging the fact Salido was only throwing low blows and he never got deducted points for it.
