Calzaghe won some tough fights in his career. I've never been a fan but like I previously said in boxing you have to call it honestly.

I'm not a fan of Calzaghe, I'm actually a Kovalev fan but in boxing you always have to call it honestly. Anyway it's a great matchup!!

and jones, toney, and hopkins won a lot more tough fights so shouldn't they be ranked higher instead of putting some fantasy guy who ducked and dodged for most his career on the same level?

Always been a fan of those guys, great fighters that also had room for criticism at times.

calzaghe didn't have the style to beat kovalev. that would be calling it honestly. a guy with terrible defense who fights square would hit the canvas early and often against kovalev. kovalev knows how to time good boxers he would obviously find the wide open holes that a square calzaghe presented. kovalev had power and calzaghe didn't so there's almost no chance the fight would go in calzaghe's favor. if calzaghe was wobbled by well placed hopkins counters kovalev would certainly end him. if calzaghe tries to fight at long range...well he's just not good at that and would be picked apart.

yes thats true but they still have much better resumes than calzaghe yet you say they are equal? how is that being honest? you seem to criticize everyone but calzaghe.

Damn I wish that was true coz I'm a Kovalev fan but unfortunately Calzaghe would have outboxed him and been too smart for Kovalev. What a great matchup though!!

I'd actually pick a prime jones and toney over Calzag but I still think he's on their level and would have gone at least 9 or 10 rounds while having his moments.

In their primes....Jones,Toney and B-Hop all rate way ahead of Calzaghe.

As for Krusher, the book is still being written...

Calzaghe was an absolute monster. Fastest hands ever, iron chin, one punch knockout power, could throw 2000 punches in a fight an not get tired.

Their has never been a man alive that could beat Joe.

He is the greatest fighter of all time.
