because many professionals and commentators believe he has the tools to trouble Floyd, regardless if he lost to Danny Garcia or didnt look good against Diaz

A lot of arm chair critics obviously know better though

So Floyd then gets free exposure to a wide audience simply by mentioning Khan's name.

Floyd already ducked Khan twice though so there's no way I can see him actually facing Khan unless the IRS cleans him out and he needs money fast.
Because Danny Garcia's TEAM said "NO" to the rematch

Khan wanted the rematch after the loss, Danny's team rejected for whatever reason

You have ur answer now..say thanku

Khan is the best guy Floyd could fight apart from Pacquiao. End of story.

        Floyd-Amir is a great fight.

It is strange that he's kept himself relevant through the Peterson/Garcia/Molina/Diaz stage of his career. A lot of guys would have been forgotten.

He is a big name within the sport I guess, and a big name generally in the UK/Ireland. He has the platform to keep himself relevant than others don't, particularly non-English speakers.

The only reason Khan is a constant (to coin your phrase) is because he's an active pest and illusionist. Like a little kid running around at a party screaming and yelling constantly -- He becomes hard to ignore.

The only reason anyone even mentions a C+ level fighter in the same sentence as Floyd or Pac is because everywhere he goes, he mentions both Floyd & Pacs name. Realistically, a fighter who's struggling to get wins over other C-level opponents would be laughable as a potential opponent for the elites. But that's how boxing works ........... "peeleft:

He is actually the only boxer out there, who assumes that his beliefs should entitle him to big fights with the top dogs. And the only fighter out there, that is under the impression that he doesn't need to earn a shot, he should be able to just walk up, battered and bruised from his last escape routine called a fight, and call out the P4P best in the sport.

Boxing as a sport is becoming more and more ridiculous, as more of these characters emerge. And it is the root cause of the "Lack of credibility" of the sport. In no other sport in the world, would such an opponent even be considered for a Championship title shot.

NFL - You gotta earn it
MLB - You gotta earn it
NHL - You gotta earn it
NBA - You gotta earn it
Nascar - You gotta earn it
Formula One - You gotta earn it

Boxing .... You don't have to earn it.

He's one of the better money options at welterweight. If Khan ever gets his **** together and stops losing, he'll get Mayweather.

You know, his association with Roach helped him a lot.

                    Roach, and by extension Pacquiao.

Its the way he fights, he has a style which is casual friendly. Also on top of that he is vulnerable, which gets the viewers all hyped. People want their moneys worth, they want to be entertained.

Although against Collazo he seemed mature and not as electrifying, which benefits him, if he is to carry on winning.
