no he should have dq'd wlad who clinched 44 times. rabbit punches are what happens when a guy is clinched. you are blaming the symptom not the problem.
wlad is a cheater. look what happened the very first second of the "fight" and it just continued with no warnings, point deductions, anything.

Hate to break it to you .... But clinching\holding is allowed in Boxing. However, rabbit punches are illegal fouls and regardless of the so-called justification, are NOT allowed in boxing.

Excessive clinching and holding is not allowed and points will be deducted, that is if the ref is doing his job and/or isn't paid off. And Klit DOES hold excessively EVERY fight... exposing the back of his head. Hence the rabbit punches WILL come.

So he couldn't recuperate after 4 rounds? He just has no movement at all.

                "Marquess_of_Queensberry_Rules" That's a good one!!!

I hope you know that there have been several modifications since 1867, to such a degree that holding as a penalty is not enforced.

List the last referee that penalized for holding vs penalizing for rabbit punches.

There is a stark difference between the two -- One (holding) is a consequential occurrence in boxing and cannot be avoided. Whereas, rabbit punches can be avoided and are a willful action.

I know many of you klitschko hater's try everything to discredit Wlad's wins even to the point of quoting archaic "Marquess of Queensberry" rules of 1867. lol!!!!

But at some point you will just have to get over it ...............

of course he couldn't move. he's 6'3 and 250 pounds(mostly fat) the only thing he could do is hold his hands up like a kangaroo since he was too fat to move out of the way.

BTW: Uniform Boxing Rules are the current guide used for Boxing - Amended July 3, 2008

Where classifications have been reduced to Intentional fouls, executed by the judgement of the referee.

yeah the rules that boxing is based on are irrelevant. are low blows legal too now? if a ref doesn't penalize a person for doing it i guess so according to you. you tried to lie and got caught. some clinching can't be avoided but wlad clearly does it on purpose. he holds his hands out and grabs his opponents to prevent them from punching. why do you follow boxing? you don't even like it. your love for wlad is greater than the actual rules. you think the rules should be based on whatever wlad does. pathetic.
