Agreed, Moorer was definitely the better of the two.

You are one subsection of boxing fans. Max Kellerman described you on the HBO telecast, bloodthirsty. Bloodbaths are fun, but you are not a boxing fan until you appreciate all styles. There was some blood in this fight, I guess it wasn't enough for you.

In soccer, it's bunkering. In baseball, it's pitching. In hockey, it's the neutral zone trap. In football, it's defense. Every sport contains a style fans don't appreciate. That doesn't mean that it shouldn't be respected. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

Tony Weeks did nothing alike to what he did in Floyd v Maidana 1. Rushed in to break up the fighters when Pulev was having a slight fking moment. Credit to Wlad for his KDs but I will not dismiss his blatant holdfest. It was hard to watch just like his constant man-huggery vs Povetkin.

Byrd had a better chin too.

            Why/how would/could anyone dispute that?

            This can only say hater!
Agreed. Not even close. Byrd was not only easily the better boxer with a better chin, but also had a better career defending his belt.

              You're obviously joking.

Bruno was big and strong and athletic but absolutely terrible boxer.

He was on about par with Ray Austin.

tony weeks was chosen because he's terrible. they knew they could trust him after seeing garcia-matthysse. nobody finds it strange that the same 10 or so refs are in every major fight? are they really the best? i hear tony weeks and kenny bayless are so good but then i see them clearly letting a-side fighters do whatever they want. it's a cycle. if they protect the a-side fighters they will get more big fights. if weeks had dq'd wlad he would be working at the snack shack.

Please name a top 10 boxer that Moorer would stand any chances against today?

Moorer was a power puncher at light heavy but a featherfist at HW.

He was also a glass jaw.

He had skills and athleticism but was far too small to survive in an era of superheavyweight punchers.

As evidenced by the fact that everytime he fought a hard puncher, he got knocked out.

Think how Tua iced him in seconds. That's about how his performance would look against nearly every HW today.
